Whether you just hauled your last moving box up a flight of stairs or you’ve been haunting this slice of Madison for years, we want to give you a proper welcome to the neighborhood.
To celebrate our community (and give everyone a good excuse to get out of the house), we’re taking over the street for the Johnson Street Block Party on August 16, 2026!
We are teaming up with Dancing Goat Distillery to keep the block properly fueled. Check out the schedule for food and drink specials by the hour.

Join us for RED Izakaya, a one-night-only pop-up at Public Parking on Thursday, July 16, from 5:00–8:00 PM (or until sold out).
In Japan, an izakaya is a casual gathering place where friends unwind over drinks and shareable plates. We’ll be serving a menu of Japanese-inspired bar snacks—including yakitori, pork gyoza, spicy tuna nachos, and more—perfectly paired with Public Parking’s cocktails.
