Room 31 Room 31 is a craft cocktail bar hidden inside the 5 Line tavern in Eagle Rock, California. We use fre Room 31 quietly opened on June 1st 2016.

It is the first, and only craft cocktail bar in Eagle Rock, finally bringing the cocktail movement to the north east corner of Los Angeles. We sought to create a special place in our neighborhood. A beautiful relaxed setting that serves great classic cocktails, while allowing for experimentation with a creative dialogue between bartender and patron. We were given a great opportunity to achieve this by partnering with Aro Agakhanyan of the 5 line Tavern. He approached us about designing a separate cocktail space with-in the 5 line. Room 31 was created by Alchemy & Stone, a bar consulting/design firm started by veteran barman Marcos Menendez, and set designer and prop stylist Stephanie Mace. We feel this is a relevant footnote in the continuing saga of the cocktail revolution that started centuries ago, and is continued today by forward thinking bartenders who demonstrate a culinary approach to making cocktails. We are a small speakeasy. Entrance is through the back door off the parking lot of the 5 Line Tavern. 2136 Colorado Blvd. Look for the sliding door, and you've found us!
