Blackout Fridays at WWLA! Instructor Matt for beginner & Samantha for intermediate/ DJ Andres! is today!!! 🥳

Here's a few things to note:

1. Wrangler Weekend Los Angeles is at the Burbank Marriott Convention center which is the building NEXT to the hotel.
2. ALL the WCS things happening with Blackout Friday are at the P.C.H. room. Beginner class is with Matt Richey at 7:15PM and intermediate class with Samantha Jane Buckwalter at 8PM. DJ Andrés Cedeño will be djing all your favorite tunes for the rest of the evening!
3. We do have discount codes! ( See previous post)
If you are registering just for the evening: It’s 25.00, however discount code FRINTBOF2026 will give you a $5.00 off discount, you can just go there and let them know you're going for Blackout Friday!
4. All THREE evening workshops and dance are included in the price of $20.00.*3 Additionally, you'll have access to the line dance & country ballrooms all night long. All ballrooms have dance floors around 2000 sq ft each!
5. We recommend you carpool with your friends. Parking here is: $16.80.

Blackout Friday is TONIGHT, so here's a few FYI things to know.

1. We got teaching the intermediate class!
2. DJ is djing all your favorite tunes🎶
3. Strictly spotlight slots are full. :)

If you've never been to Blackout Friday before here's some FAQs:
1. We either take paypal or cash only. Paypal - [email protected] (choose friends and family option) We don't take venmo or credit card.
2. Prices - 20.00 for intermediate class + social
Intermediate class ONLY - 10. Social ONLY - 15.00
Student discount (must show current ID) - 10.00
(Anyone with the BYOB pass - BYOB pass ONLY covers social dances. Intermediate class is $10)
3. Beginner class - always free. If you bring someone new you can get 1 BYOB pass per visit that can be used for next BOF
4. First timers! If you've never been to Blackout Friday, your first time is FREE though if you want to take the intermediate class it's $10.00 🙂
5. Water bottles we do sell them for $1. Otherwise we recommend you bring your own water bottle and fill it with ice because it gets really hot. Additionally, in this heat bringing a change of shirts also helps cool you down!

Here at Socal Westy, we honor those before us who make a difference to our LA community...so we decided to donate $1000 to help cover the one and only Carlito Rofoli's funeral costs.

To our favorite beginner, Carlito Rofoli whom danced with everyone and always welcomed everyone to Blackout Friday with warm smiles, humble conversations, we at Socal Westy miss you. Thank you for being your kind self and making a huge impact on our community.
