Kimchi quesadillas are what happen when we stop pretending a quesadilla has to behave.

Spicy fermented kimchi. Melted Jack cheese. Sour cream and guacamole cooling everything back down. House salsa on the side. Then we cut it open while the cheese is still doing its thing.

It’s vegetarian. It’s gluten-free. And it is extremely Sorry Not Sorry: familiar enough to crave immediately, weird enough that you’re probably not making it at home.

Bring the friend you’ve been saying you need to see before summer disappears. Order a table full of things. Stay for another round. Labor Day weekend basically starts now.

Some steak dishes are about the size of the cut.

This one is about the bite.

We take ribeye cap — deeply marbled, ridiculously beefy, and one of the most flavorful parts of the ribeye — and char it hard so the edges get dark and caramelized while the inside stays juicy.

Then we finish it the Sorry Not Sorry way: with our Vietnamese shaking beef sauce. Savory, garlicky, a little sweet, a little tangy — and exactly the kind of sauce you start dragging your fries through once the steak is gone.

Now picture it:

You’re on the patio in West LA. There’s a cold cocktail in front of you. The Steak Frites hits the table still smelling like the grill, and everyone immediately reaches for a fry.

Back to school means everyone is suddenly back on a schedule… which also means it’s time to finally see the people you kept saying you were going to see all summer. 😅
