Someone has said it correctly that you have to walk an extra mile to witness the beautiful things. Likewise, to reach Tzararacua waterfalls in Mexico, you have to cross a narrow, overcrowded road. Also, the waterfall is isolated from the city, and many people are not aware of this. So you will not get any public transit to reach the waterfalls. Instead, we suggest you book a taxi from your residence or drive your car. The Tzararacua waterfall is a natural waterfall with multiple drops at distinct heights. Also, the gratifying ambiance near the waterfall is something that you will not get anywhere else in the city.

A lush, green escape
With the tourist season winding down and rainy season still to come, September is an ideal time to visit Bali. If you’re lucky enough to go, plan a day trip to the Tegallalang farming terraces in Ubud, where visitors can capture gorgeous photos of the landscape and get a unique glimpse into Balinese culture. The island of Bali has a rich tradition of agriculture, with a unique method of water management for rice farming. The irrigation system here, known as Subak, is recognised by Unesco for its cultural significance. Water flows through temples and into the rice paddies, carved into the hillsides like steps. It's a tradition that dates back thousands of years, based on the Balinese philosophical principle of Tri Hita Karana, which refers to a relationship between humans, nature and the gods.

Stacks of time
Epic landscapes are plentiful here in the Outer Hebrides, where scores of impressive rock formations, including spiky sea stacks, sea arches and towering cliffs, have been created over millions of years. Formed from Europe’s oldest rock, Lewisian Gneiss, these islands off mainland Scotland’s north-west coast have been sculpted by volcanic heat, ice, wind and the constant pounding of the sea.

This awesome scene can be found on the west coast of the Isle of Lewis near Mangersta Beach, where steep pink granite sea stacks rise out of the crashing waves and line up for the perfect photograph. Huge Atlantic waves crash into the craggy rocks here all year round, crushing shells into a finely-ground white sand while sea eagles, gannets and fulmars fly overhead. The beaches around here are framed by machair - a rare dune grassland habitat rich in wildflower species, built on seashell fragments laid down over thousands of years.

Signs of life in the Empty Quarter
An unlikely tree stands amid the seemingly endless dunes of the Rub' al Khali desert in the Arabian Peninsula. The Rub' al Khali, meaning Empty Quarter, is a vast sea of sand. Spreading across 250,000 square miles, it's the largest contiguous sand desert in the world, covering most of south-east Saudi Arabia, with smaller portions in Yemen, Oman and the United Arab Emirates. One of the driest places on Earth, almost nobody lives in Rub' al Khali, and much of the desert remains unexplored. Some of the dunes tower more than 800ft (244m) high, and the depressions in between, called sabkhas, can be so soft that vehicles, camels and people can easily become stuck.

The Rub' al Khali wasn't always so forbiddingly dry. At various times between 2,000 and 6,000 years ago, cataclysmic rainfall, like modern-day monsoons, formed shallow lakes in the spaces between the dunes. Most of these lakes were temporary, but some lasted hundreds of years and supported a variety of plants and animals, even large creatures like hippopotamuses, water buffalo, and long-horned cattle. Rain isn't unheard of today, either. In May 2018, Cyclone Mekunu brought enough rain to form lakes in the Rub' al Khali for the first time in about 20 years - a rare occasion when the Empty Quarter wasn't looking so empty after all.

The Taliban has a history of imposing restrictions on women, brutally oppressing minority groups, banning music and television, and carrying out public executions.

Most of the world did not recognize the Taliban as a legitimate government when they held power from 1996 to 2001, and limited their diplomatic ties with Afghanistan during that time. Pakistan was one of the few countries that recognized the Taliban's rule then.

Influencing an Afghan government
Pakistan is not telling the world if it should or should not support the Taliban, Yusuf said.

Instead, Pakistan hopes that the international community would engage with Afghanistan when a new government is formed and discuss how to ensure an inclusive and moderate government, respect for human rights, and prevent terrorism from being carried out on Afghan soil.

"This is what the world is saying, this is what the U.S. is saying, so if that's true, how are we going to get there without engaging the ground reality?" Yusuf said.

To be clear, the Taliban are the biggest stakeholders in Afghanistan now — so, any government formed would have their strong backing.

Pakistan has long been accused of covertly aiding the Taliban during their insurgency in Afghanistan in the last 20 years, while also being an U.S. ally — a charge that Pakistan denies and Yusuf on called "preposterous."

Media reports say Pakistan is also growing more worried over potential security threats spilling over from Afghanistan.

Security vacuum
Yusuf warned that if there is a security vacuum in Afghanistan, it could be filled by "undesirable elements," and that it would affect the entire world. There would also be a refugee crisis, he added.

"Afghans are not commodities. They are human beings," Yusuf said. "Millions are refugees already. Rather than we talking about another refugee crisis, another security crisis, let's ensure we prevent them."
