Speaking with the ancestors. 🌴

If you’ve spent any time inside The Tikeasy, you know there are a lot of faces looking back at you. 👀

Our collection of carvings, masks, lamps, artwork, and wonderfully strange objects has been gathered over many years. A lot of it is genuinely vintage. Some pieces have known histories, while others have stories we’re still trying to uncover.

Our owner, Mercy, even rescued several of our tikis after finding them rotting away in a yard. They were brought back to life and eventually found a home here.

Then there’s Moe. Our very large, very watchful figure from Papua New Guinea was originally a speaker’s stool. We know he last changed hands in 1979, but we don’t actually know when he was made. When he arrived, a piece with that much personality obviously needed a name. 😂

We also try to be thoughtful about the history behind the aesthetic we love. American tiki exploded in popularity through the 1940s and ’50s, creating a romanticized Polynesian and South Pacific fantasy that borrowed imagery from many distinct Pacific cultures. And the cocktail history has another layer worth talking about: Filipino bartenders played an enormously important, and historically under-credited, role in building the drinks and hospitality that helped define the genre.

We love tiki for the escapism, craftsmanship, rare rums, elaborate cocktails, dim lanterns, carved wood, and the feeling that you’ve stepped somewhere completely different for a few hours. But loving it also means being curious about where these traditions, objects, and influences actually came from.

So next time you’re here, look around. Some of our decor has been traveling longer than The Tikeasy has existed, and we’re still learning its stories.

And if you catch yourself having a conversation with Moe after your second cocktail… well, speaking with the ancestors. 😂🌺🥃

What would Dolly do? Put on something sparkly & turn up the music 💖

For the past two years, these Dolly-inspired drinks have made special appearances on our menu during Rodeo Week. This week, we’re bringing them back as a small tribute in her honor.

🤠 THE 9 TO 5
Our espresso martini served with a sidecar of Irish cream in a tiny boot shooter.

💗 BACKWOODS BARBIE
A beautified raspberry White Russian, because there’s no such thing as too much.

🔫 REVOLVER
Breckenridge Buddy Pass Imperial Stout Cask Whiskey with our house-made espresso liqueur.

🥒 JOLENE
Page Mill Chardonnay with freshly muddled cucumber. Please don’t take our man.

From 5–7 PM all week long, we’ll be bumping Dolly’s greatest hits, singing along, and pouring returning favorites & more at special prices. We’ll have a few Dolly touches around the bar, too. ✨

Come dressed up or dressed down. Rhinestones are encouraged, but never required.

If you’ve been working 9 to 5, come listen to the hits, cry over a cocktail, and raise a glass with us at The Tikeasy. 💗

🌰 Let’s talk orgeat.

You’ve probably seen it listed in a tropical cocktail and thought… okay, but what is it?

Orgeat is an almond-based syrup, and we make ours right here in house. It’s creamy, nutty, lightly sweet, and gives cocktails that silky texture that makes you want to go back for another sip. It softens bright citrus, rounds out bold rum and adds a little richness to everything it touches.

You’ll find it tucked into several drinks on our menu, including the Army & Navy and Espresso Martiki, and of course, it’s an essential part of a classic Mai Tai. 🌴

☕️🌴

The Espresso Martiki is rich, silky, and seriously smooth!!

🌰 Our house-made orgeat — a classic almond syrup in tropical cocktails — gives it that creamy, nutty texture.

☕ Dolce coffee liqueur brings deep, roasty coffee notes.

🌴 Hamilton Jamaican Pot Still Black Rum rounds it out with molasses, ripe tropical fruit, spice, and that signature Jamaican funk.

Coffee-forward, nutty, tropical, and decadent. Just the kind of thing Friday calls for.

If you’re feeling that end-of-the-week celebration, stop by and we’ll start shakin’. 🍹

A little crew appreciation post 🌴🍹💛

This week, our team took a mini tiki crawl around the Bay and paid visits to Forbidden Island Tiki Lounge , Pagan Idol , and Smuggler's Cove ! We even put together a little scavenger hunt for the crew to check off along the way. 🌺

For a few members of our team, The Tikeasy has been their only real tiki bar experience, so getting to step into other spaces, taste their drinks, take in the atmosphere, and see how other crews bring tiki to life was genuinely so enriching. We came home with plenty to talk about, plenty of inspiration, and a whole new appreciation for this wonderfully weird little world we get to be part of. 🗿✨

The biggest thank you goes to our owner, Mercy, for planning the whole adventure and treating the crew. 🥲 Getting to spend time together outside of work, learn a little, drink a little, and experience these incredible bars as a team was such a gift.

We’re feeling energized, inspired, and very proud of what we’re building back home at The Tikeasy. 🌴❤️

And a huge mahalo to the crews at Forbidden Island, Pagan Idol, and Smuggler’s Cove for the hospitality! 🍹

🍞🌴 Save room for this one.

Our house-made bread pudding starts with imported Italian croissants, baked into a buttery, custardy dessert with warm notes of cinnamon and apricot.

Then we make it Tikeasy.

A generous pour of creamy rum sauce and rich pineapple purée brings it all together: tropical, decadent, and absolutely delectable.

And yes, you’ll find it on our Happy Hour menu! ⚓️

If you missed it today, come catch it tomorrow from 5–7 PM alongside our Happy Hour cocktails.

Still making plans tonight? We’re open until 11 PM. Come hungry. 🌺

⚓️ One last escape before the weekend slips away…

Tonight is your last chance to sneak into The Tikeasy this week, and with a cooler evening before things heat up again tomorrow, it’s looking like a pretty good night to disappear beyond the archway. 🌴

Meet our newest featured cocktail, the Army & Navy: Greenhook Gin, fresh lemon, Angostura, and our house-made orgeat.

Complex without being fussy, refreshing without being too sweet. 🍋🌿

Even better? It’s on Happy Hour from 5–7 PM.

Come settle in, grab a spot on the patio, and enjoy a much-needed escape.

🔥 Think you don’t like mezcal?

Maybe you’ve just never had it in the right cocktail.

Our Temple Ruins is built around Historias y Memorias Artesanal Mezcal, a handcrafted spirit from Oaxaca made using traditional methods that celebrate the depth and character of agave. Rather than overpowering the drink, its gentle smokiness is balanced by tamarind, fresh lime, a touch of Tajín, and just enough sweetness to tie everything together.

It’s bold, layered, and one of our favorite introductions to mezcal.

And because we have a soft spot for a little theater…

We soak a sugar cube in 151 rum and set it ablaze tableside before it slowly melts into the cocktail, adding a touch of caramelized sweetness and creating a moment that’s just begging to be photographed.

If you’ve been curious about mezcal, start here!!

⚓ Happy Hour is on from 5–7 PM
Enjoy $10 featured cocktails, Captain’s Provisions, and discover something new beyond the archway.

We’ll see you tonight. 🌴

Many of our cakes begin their journey in Italy before arriving at The Tikeasy, where we add our own finishing touch.

For the Golden Rum Cake, that means a luscious house-made rum sauce, swirled together with our rich chocolate sauce for a dessert that’s more than ready for its close-up.

Rich without being heavy. Soft, decadent, and best enjoyed alongside a Rum Fashioned.

After all, some pairings are simply meant to sail together.
