As we turn over the New Year 2026, I turn over the keys. Selling the bar wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s the right one. After thirty years of building, running, and showing up every day, I’m ready for something new. I’m ready to take the opportunity to live a little differently—to spend more time with the people I love, to explore what’s next, and to enjoy the freedom this next chapter brings.

Thirty-three years ago, Jerry and I opened this bar with a lot of hope, a little fear, and no real idea of where the journey would take us. What started as a business became a second home. These walls have seen laughter, celebrations, tough conversations, friendships begin, and memories made that I’ll carry with me forever.

To my staff, past and present—thank you for your hard work, loyalty, and belief in the bar. A bar isn’t just drinks and doors; it’s people. You are the heart of this place, and I’m incredibly grateful for every one of you.

And to our customers—some of you strangers at first, many of you now friends—so many now like family, thank you for walking through these doors, for your stories, your trust, and for making this bar what it became.
