I must say this. Taking money from an audience to support a benefit is wrong and killing everyone involved. All the proceeds must go to the beneficiary and everyone working is not just doing it free but losing money in expenses. That’s why I convert to a non-profit. With enough notice, we can secure corporate sponsorship. They want to do this because they get to attract your audience. They have departments just for this. The beneficiary with BandaGiG gets 30% of the proceeds but they will get more at that rate with corporate sponsorship and you get more audience members and your crew… wait for it, they’ll get paid to. Remember, corporate sponsors WANT to do this but you not giving them an opportunity and you killing your audience, crew, performers and even the beneficiary that could have gotten paid A LOT more. Let BandaGiG do your next benefit. We commit 20% more to the beneficiary than any other charity you’ll find. Oh, did I say that corporate sponsors help with promotion if you’ll let them. They like that kind of thing you know they have whole departments just for that.
