Midway City
The next battlefield awaited in Midway City, Michigan—a city watched over by legends of the skies.
Above the rooftops, the shadows of Hawkgirl and Hawkman crossed the moonlit sky. Somewhere beyond the city limits, the Doom Patrol kept watch, knowing that whenever heroes gathered in numbers, trouble was never far behind.
Tonight, however, the city belonged to the competitors.
Twenty-four warriors entered.
Heroes. Villains. And those who walked the line between them.
The battles were brutal.
The city shook with every clash, every victory, and every defeat. One by one, competitors fell until only the strongest remained.
When the final battle ended, the arena fell silent.
The dust settled.
Four names remained above the rest.
4th Place:
Black Adam — Anti-Hero, DC Universe
Big Mike
3rd Place:
Quicksilver — Super Hero, Marvel Universe
James Q
2nd Place:
Rip Tide — X-Men Super Villain, Marvel Universe
Michael E
And the champion of Midway City…
1st Place:
Rocket the Raccoon — Guardian of the Galaxy, Marvel Universe
Sam
Rocket stood at the center of the arena, battered but victorious, raising his weapon as the crowd erupted.
Twenty-four had entered.
Four had earned their place in the history of Midway City.
And one had claimed the crown.
But as the celebration began, something strange happened.
The lights surrounding the arena flickered.
Once.
Twice.
Then every light went dark.
The crowd fell silent.
High above the city, Hawkgirl and Hawkman suddenly stopped in midair.
They weren't watching the arena anymore.
They were looking toward the horizon.
A low rumble rolled across Midway City.
Then, for just a moment, a strange symbol appeared in the night sky.
No one recognized it.
Not the heroes.
Not the villains.
Not even the Doom Patrol.
Then it vanished.
The lights returned.
The crowd erupted again, unsure of what they had just witnessed.
Rocket lowered his weapon.
His victory celebration was over.
Because somewhere in the darkness beyond Midway City…
someone had been watching.
And whatever came next wasn't part of the tournament.
It was something else entirely.
