Sing now, O Muses, of the games upon lofty Mt. Hollis, where the deathless gods assembled above the drifting clouds.

There was no peace upon that mountain, for sixteen immortals had gathered there, each bearing memories of victories won and defeats endured. With them came old friendships forged in ages past, rivalries that had outlived empires, and longings unspoken since the world was young.

Their voices rose together like a storm wind upon the sea, until the King of the Gods, seeing no end to their quarrel and boasting, cast forth a flashing bolt. Thunder rolled through the heavens, and silence seized the assembly.

"To all assembled: you will compete with honor and sportsmanship. None may use their divine powers to guarantee victory.
Especially you, Fortuna—no blessing your favorites with luck. And you, Eris—no preying upon insecurities or sowing strife and chaos to aid the god you've wagered upon.
LET US PLAY FOR VICTORY!"
So spoke the King, and all obeyed.

Then the Balls of Fate were cast. Swift flew the contests. Lightning flashed across the heavens, laughter echoed through the clouds, and the immortals tested one another with all the passion that only gods can summon.
Through the long hours of sacred Night they competed. Nyx spread her dark mantle across the world below, yet still the games endured. Only when she withdrew before bright Helios, driver of the sun's blazing chariot, did the final contest come to its end.
Then were the victors known to all.

As Astraeus painted the horizon with the final colors of day and Nyx waited patiently beyond the veil to claim the night, the immortals gathered once more upon Mt. Hollis. One by one they arrived, some openly eager, others feigning indifference as only the Gods can.
The hall buzzed with anticipation. Twenty-five Olympians had answered the call this evening, making for one of the largest gatherings in recent memory. Athena observed with her usual wisdom while Agon delighted in the competitive spirit that seemed to radiate from every corner of the room. Even Zeus himself appeared amused by the growing excitement.
Lightning danced across the tables as the games commenced.
With so many divine competitors assembled, one might expect fortune to favor a select few and bring the contests to a swift conclusion. Yet Tyche had other plans. The Goddess of Luck drifted among the competitors, sprinkling equal measures of fortune and mischief wherever she pleased.
Victories were snatched away at the last moment. Impossible shots found their mark. Certain winners became spectators while underdogs rose to challenge the favorites. Every match seemed destined to become a story worth telling.
As the evening stretched onward, rivalries were renewed, friendships tested, and legends quietly forged beneath the glow of divine lightning. Cheers erupted, groans echoed, and more than a few Gods questioned whether Tyche was truly remaining impartial.
At last, after countless hard-fought contests, the final standings were proclaimed:

(3rd) West Wind
Sam God of Wild Nature

(2nd) South Wind

With the champions crowned, the competition gave way to celebration. Goblets were raised, tales of near victories grew more impressive with every telling, and the halls echoed with laughter. The finest nectar and wine flowed freely as Olympians and guests alike enjoyed the company of friends both old and new.
The revelry carried on until Helios began guiding his radiant chariot across the heavens, signaling the arrival of a new day and the end of another memorable gathering upon the mountain.

As Astraeus settled in to bringing the dusk of the day, awaiting Nix to being forth the night, all of the Olympians had begun to lazily appear in time for their gaming. Most were pretending to be disinterested, in reality they know Agon and Athena will be sitting next to The King of the Gods to over see this nights games. Their was energy crackling in the air, with far more than the lighting bolts used to Crack the balls on the table.
With only eighteen Gods, one would think that the games would be done quickly.
That is not the case. Each win was hard one. Not only through skill with their individual powers but Tyche was floating through the games spreading luck throughout those assembled.
After masterfully played games, the lighting hitting each ball into their designated holes.
