To my dearest and most loyal gamer family,

It pains me to make this FINAL announcement: Pvp Zone will be permanently closed due to the ongoing pandemic, and it's continuously changing regulations. The store could not operate under it's normal conditions per CDC and state guidelines.

It's been a long and wonderful journey for the 6 years we had together. Your continued support over the years really brought our community closer. We created countless memories throughout the years involving many salty League of Legends and CSGO tournaments. It was fun seeing everyone talk smack to one another.

We would like to personally thank all of our devoted employees. Your ideas and contributions helped create an unforgettable, friendly environment. You were the foundation of Pvp Zone, so don't be strangers now!

In this times of separation, we will still be strong as an online community to support each other during these hard times. Feel free to reach out to us personally to play games or to stay in touch.

Remember to stay safe, wear a mask, stay 6 feet apart, and lets beat this pandemic together. So that next year can be a better year for everyone.

Gamers Unite!

Pvp Zone is finally offering the much awaited news! We will be open NOVEMBER 8TH around 2pm! Please help us pass the word because we would like to make the first day we reopen successful!

As covid goes on, we are updating a few new rules that we must follow by governors order and for the protection of our employees and other customers:

- We will be checking temperature when you come in.
- Face masks is MANDATORY. We will have additional facemasks that can be purchased for $1.
- Hand Sanitizers will be placed at the desks for your convenience, please make sure to use them.
- If you're feeling sick, we will ask you to come back another time and rest well.
- We will only have HALF our computers because of the 6 feet regulation.

Please help keep everyone safe by following the guidelines. There wont be any exceptions to it.

Pvp zone will continue to be 24 hours and we will be making sure that the computers and rows will be clean.
We will most likely be running a sale on hours tomorrow so come by and join us for a reunion!

Hello gamers!

It's been long overdue but we want to thank you for your patience during this time.

We wanted to give all the gamers an update on our progress. We are still going through renovations and preparations for our reopening. In light of this, safety is our number 1 concern, we will be supplied with masks, hand sanitizer and around the clock cleaning for our computers and center. Our goal is to reopen in November and sometime around our anniversary and provide events for everyone as well. It will be pvp zones fresh new face!

We miss everyone and hope to see everyone again soon!

Yo Gamers!

Small update from our last post. It's really unfortunate, but due to the governor extending the shut down order, we will continue to stay closed until further notice.

We don't want to risk the safety of our employees or the safety of our customers until we feel it is the right time to open our doors again.

We will stay in touch with any additional updated news and we would like to extend a small offer to our sister business Jackie Bee!

Jackie Bee is still open for pick up and delivery orders, feel free to place your order over the phone or (highly recommended) that you place an order through postmates!

Hello Gamers!

This post will serve as an update to our previous post.

After a lot of discussions, Pvp Zone will be effectively closed as of March 18, 2020 by noon. We're doing this with a heavy heart because we want to keep the doors open for all of our gamers. However, due to recent announcement on the news by our Governor, we decided to to take any chances with the health and well being of our community.

We ask that you:

- Wash your hands thoroughly at home.
- Wear masks if you're feeling sick.
- And keep an eye out for parents and elders to make sure they're in good health and be very weary around them.

We love you all very much. Please make sure to take care of your health and look out for the health of others. We will be posting updates on our Facebook as to when we're allowed to reopen!

P.S. On a lighter side of News we will be opening and posting our discord soon so we can still play with our community!

Hello Gamers,

Pvp Zone would like to announce that we will still be open 24 hours during this hardship. We are committed to the well-being and health of the gaming community, our beloved customers, and our employees.

We hand sanitizer and lysol wipes provided for the customers (though we are limiting the lysol wipes down to 1 per person, and a pump per person until our stock is depleted). However, we have increased the amount of cleaning to our stations, restrooms and our center overall. We would also like to ask for your cooperation by wearing masks if you're feeling under the weather and making sure you wash your hands after using the restroom.

In addition, we would like to announce that our sister company Jackie Bee will remain open as well! Their new store hours are:

Sunday: 11:30am-9pm
Monday - Friday: 10:30am-9pm
Saturday: 11am-9pm

They are still delivering through Ubereats, Grubhub, and Postmates! In addition, they are going to be adding a 10% discount on ALL orders, and a 15% discount on ALL students and hospital personnel.

Please help support small businesses such as: Press Start Gaming Center during the wake of COVID19 because much of the economy is based off small businesses! Be kind and courteous to others, and remember all the events that made !

P.S.

- We WILL be checking your temperature via infra-red thermometer and if you have a temperature over 101 degrees Fahrenheit or 38.3 degrees Celsius will be asked to go home until the fever has gone down.

- For those constantly coughing, as ask that you put on a face masks! We are trying to get face masks for our center, and we can supply them if when we get a steady supply.

Hello Gamers.

Today is unlike any other day. Though it is bright and sunny, for most of the Pvp Zone family it is very solemn. We had lost one of our beloved family.

Joe Simonetti was an avid gamer and had loved Pvp Zone very much. He was a friend, a brother, and the cool uncle to many of us at the center. He was always sitting at the back of the center playing World of Warcraft, enjoying his life to the fullest. He was a one of a kind person. He watched out for his family and whenever we need advice he would be ready with the wisest of words. On other days, he would be the cool Uncle every guy wants to be when they grow up. He would set us straight whenever we get out of line or call us out on our bullsh*t.

In his later days, he was battling through Stage 4 cancer. It had originally had developed in his knee, yet despite all odds. Joe had beat it, only to find out a few months later, another cancer had developed. The doctor's prognosis was not ideal. However, as family, we prayed for him to beat it and recover. As of late last night, he had passed away quietly in his sleep. Now, he is in heaven watching over us as always.

Today, your seat is now empty, but your memory is not. Pvp Zone will immortalize your seat forever... We will miss you dearly.

P.S. For anyone who knew Joe, please feel free to come by and tell us your stories or leave some sweet letters for him.
