What’s up you PESO PARTY PEOPLE! We miss you immensely and look forward to seeing you soon! I talked to The New landlords yesterday. They expressed no interest in the business or changing the business at all. I was told that construction should start sometime in mid December. Which is good news and an estimated time of us being available to reopen right around the beginning of February. So no wine bars! The PESO lives on thank God and thank you all for your support. If you see my staff out and about at Starbucks or wherever this holiday season. Maybe offer to buy them a cup of coffee tell them you miss them. They’ve gone through hell with this.

Hi PESO peeps!
I know there’s been a lot of social media circling around about what’s happening with the Silver Peso. Let me first say we miss you very much. As it stands right now, the landlord is in the process of selling the building to potential new owners. My attorneys and I are in negotiations with protecting my lease. My understanding is the new landlords will repair the damage and get us open as soon as possible. Remember it will take me some time to dispose of expired products and make sure that I have a staff to reopen. Speaking of my staff, please please please send some prayers their way this has been hardest on them. I’m going to suggest to each of them to start their own GoFundMe page separately so that there are no complications and how one go fund me would be split amongst them. So if you see them working somewhere else, buying groceries, coffee, etc. maybe offer to help them if you can even if it’s not monetary. None of this is any of their faults.  As my hands are full dealing with multiple insurance adjusters, the sale of this building and the lease. which I’m sure you can imagine is quite a bit. But I will do my best to continue to keep you all informed on this page about the future of the Silver Peso. I can’t believe it’s six months later.

Hello peso peeps! There are a lot of rumors cycling through social media on Nextdoor, on Facebook, etc. I’m writing to let you all know that we will reopen. Some of the plans for the work to be done, had to be revised and resubmitted. We expect those to be resubmitted again tomorrow. Then it’s up to the city to get the permit process finished up. I’m informed once we have the permits to get the structural work done. It probably take about a week. I’m not sure how long it’ll take for the city to approve the work and move the red tag on our building to an orange tag, which will allow us to reopen. We will then need I’m hoping only a week to disperse of any expired product and restock clean up the place and get ready to welcome you all back through our doors. So please please please if you don’t know don’t say anything. It’s not beneficial to our business. It’s not beneficial to our employees. It’s not beneficial to our neighbor who accidentally ran into our building. When we get closer to opening, I will let you all know the best I can when that will be. Thank you for all of your continuous support. Please pray for my employees. It has been the hardest on them. But we’re working on trying to get them reimbursed somehow someway. I hope you enjoy the rest of your summer. we’re hoping to see you late, September.

Hello PESO peeps! I posted earlier this week that we were hoping to be open by 13 June. That is not looking as though it’s going to come to fruition. Please stay tuned and I will alert you as soon as I know our opening date. We miss you, but hope you are having an enjoyable summer.😎
