We have donated the use of our classroom for a group that wanted to collect signatures for the Governor Jeff Landry recall effort. Regardless of political affiliation we believe the process IS important and opened up the room for a signature collection station.

The group will be there Sat-Sun 10-2 pm. They will be set up in the classroom, which is the door on Noel Drive. This way if you’d like to go sign the petition, but not necessarily view the store you can do that. We do welcome anyone to come in and shop o see the museum stuff while they’re there, but you can easily come sign the petition without ever walking in the store.

Back in time! Back in action… the Cobra Class 4 is a workhorse in my shop. ALMOST anything that I make that is not handsewn gets done with this machine. I went to complete an order last week and it would NOT pick up the bobbin thread after changing colors. I could not remember anything seeming off last time I used it. So a disassembly was in order…. It was indeed way outta time. All back together and getting back to work now!
