Honestly, I don’t have all the right words to express all of the feelings around this event… there are no real words that can comfort the loved ones of a life tragically taken too soon. 🕊️

I can only hope that we were able to show Kenya’s parents Keith Burrough Jr. & Yaya Talya , Kenya’s daughter Londyn, and the rest of their beautiful family that the dance community loves them and is here in support. Thank you so much to the family members who were able to make it out last night! We are grateful for your appearance 💕🫶🏼.

Thank you to everyone who was able to donate and/or attend the KBX monthly social last night! Your contributions warm my heart and make me proud to be part of this beautiful community! 💪🏻🤍

I want to give a special shout out to my mother Michele Warden for also donating her time to the cause working the front door.

With everyone’s support, we were able to raise $2,116! Small contributions from a community can make a big impact, so thank you all for being part of something bigger. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🪽

Peace & Love,
Krystal

🤍 ALL WHITE PARTY — In Honor of Kenya 🤍

This Friday, we’re coming together for something much bigger than a night of dancing.

Bachata is rooted in the Dominican Republic, where its music has long carried stories of love, loss, longing, joy, and resilience. It reminds us that grief and celebration don’t always have to exist separately. Music and dance can give us a place to feel, remember, celebrate, and heal—together.

This month, we dance for Kenya. 🤍

Kenya was the beloved daughter of our friend and dance community member, Keith. We invite our community to wear ALL WHITE as we celebrate her life, surround Keith and his family with love, and turn a night of music and connection into meaningful support for them.

💗 100% OF THE PROCEEDS FROM THE SOCIAL WILL BE DONATED DIRECTLY TO KEITH AND HIS FAMILY.
Admission is $15, and anyone who would like to contribute more may make an additional donation at entry. Every dollar helps.
