Hello, Klamath Falls! Happy Monday. ❤️
As many of you know, the Wrights Spring Fire has continued to spread, resulting in multiple evacuations throughout our community. Sadly, two of our Basin team members are among those who have been displaced from their homes.
As you know, we are a small but mighty team here at Basin, and with the evacuations affecting our staff along with a few previously planned time off requests for today, we simply don’t have the team we need to open while still providing the level of service and experience our guests deserve.
So, we will be closed today, Monday, August 10th.
My people will always come first! I would never want to force my team to come to work while they’re worried about their homes, families, or loved ones. I also refuse to spread my staff too thin just to keep the doors open. You deserve the best possible Basin experience every time you walk through our doors, and that means making sure we have the team, energy, and ability to give you just that.
We are hopeful that tomorrow we’ll be back to our normal business hours. We’ll keep you updated as we know more.
In the meantime, our thoughts and prayers are with every family, first responder, firefighter, and community member affected by the Wrights Spring Fire. Please stay safe, stay informed, and take care of one another.
