NYX to suspend operations



Indianapolis Indiana, August 20, 2014: NYX Nightclub in Broad Ripple is suspending operations indefinitely following failed attempts to secure a lease as well as lopsided reporting on an unfortunate shooting July 4th that certain media has tried to connect to the venue. This has also led to various city agencies harassing us on a number of non-critical issues forcing a change in marketing & promotions that have led to a rapid decline in revenue. In the 26 years we have been operating in Broad Ripple, we have tried to never go for the “cheap drinks” like most bars and tried to offer multiple entertainment/DJ’s on two floors to cater to a diverse mixed crowd that obviously the village & others do not want. In the meantime, we will try and relocate some staff to our other two venues and hopefully have an amicable solution to either continue or cease operations in Broad Ripple completely.
