Meet our Truman’s Breakfast, a signature twist on the classic Old Fashioned. Celebrating our deep heritage right here on the Independence Square, this cocktail pays homage to Harry S. Truman’s legendary love for Bourbon.

​We’ve captured all the rich, comforting flavors of his famous morning breakfast routine by fat-washing a Truman favorite Bourbon with maple bacon then finishing it off with a sweet and smoky candied bacon garnish. It’s bold, it's complex, and it's seriously delicious. ​​

Help Wanted: Whiskey Nerd. Judgment Not Included.

Some people love allocated bourbon.

Some people love peated Scotch.

Some people would rather drink a 12-year Irish whiskey than the bottle everyone is chasing online.

And the truth is, none of them are wrong.

At The Sentinel's Whiskey Library, we believe whiskey isn't about proving what you know. It's about discovering what you enjoy.

We're looking for someone who shares that philosophy.

Someone who understands that every whiskey journey is different. Someone who gets just as excited helping a newcomer find their first favorite pour as they do discussing obscure single barrels, historic distilleries, mash bills, and production methods with a seasoned enthusiast.

Our goal isn't to tell people what they should like.

Our goal is to help them discover what they do like.

The Sentinel's Whiskey Library houses more than 1,100 unique whiskey expressions from around the world. Every bottle has a story. Every guest has a different palate. The right person for this role enjoys connecting those two things.

You might be a fit if you: • Love learning about whiskey • Enjoy sharing knowledge without talking down to people • Believe there is no "right" whiskey, only personal preference • Can help guests explore without bias • Enjoy conversation, storytelling, and hospitality • Get excited when someone discovers a whiskey they genuinely love

Because the best whiskey guide isn't the person who knows the most.
