To our amazing community, supporters, friends, and family —
Many of you know that this restaurant was built from the ground up with hard work, sacrifice, faith, and a dream to create something meaningful for our community and our family. The name “Landry’s” was never chosen to mislead anyone or ride the success of another company. It is my actual family name — a name I hoped to build into a legacy for my children and grandchildren.
Recently, we were contacted by a large corporate restaurant group regarding the use of our name. While we respect trademarks and understand businesses protecting their brands, this has been difficult for a small, community-based restaurant like ours. We are not a large chain or corporation — we are local people serving local people who support us because of our food, hospitality, and heart.
Because of the growth, attention, and incredible support this community has shown us online and in person, we have now been placed in a position where we may have to either: • Enter into an expensive legal fight
OR
• Transition into a new name and continue moving forward stronger than ever.
One thing is certain: WE ARE NOT GOING ANYWHERE.
The love this community has shown us means more than words can explain, and we are deeply grateful for every share, review, visit, recommendation, and meal purchased. Your support is the reason we’ve grown, and we fully intend to continue providing excellent food and service no matter what name is on the building.
So effective immediately
The new name will be
LanDreaux's Creole and Cajun Seafood
Thank you all for standing with us through this chapter. ❤️
