With mixed emotions, we must announce the immediate closure of White Rhino Patio and Cocktail Bar. As we close this chapter, we want to extend our deepest appreciation to our incredible community, particularly the East End.
From opening during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, to hosting numerous non-profit fundraisers, corporate mixers, a variety of special occasions, and political rallies, and most recently providing a safe haven during Hurricane Beryl, your support has been nothing short of extraordinary. Word on the street is that our venue had become a “community hub” for folks all around the Greater Houston area.
Together, we’ve shared countless memories over great cocktails and enjoyed the company of some of the best musicians, artists, food and business vendors in the city.
The greatest privilege of all has been the backbone of our success, our devoted staff. Many of whom have worked with us since opening in February 2021, provided such remarkable talent, professionalism and a positive spirit, making a lasting impact.
While the White Rhino you know and love is closing, we’re taking a break and can’t wait to reveal what’s next for the space in due time.
Your support has meant the world to us, and “Thank You” doesn’t quite capture the gratitude we feel for this incredible journey we’ve been on.
Here’s to the future and new opportunities ahead.
