Doctor Guava is a Houston-based beatmaker, producer, and DJ known for his grounded, groove-heavy sound. Repping Couchloaf Records and ODA Crew, he brings a distinct Houston identity to his music. His latest release, SS Dreams (Aug 2025), blends downtempo, lo-fi, and instrumental hip-hop with a subtle funk edge. In the city’s nightlife, he holds a residency at The Flat, running “Groove Control” and collaborating with local DJs to deliver smooth, vibe-focused sets. Rooted in independence and Houston culture, Doctor Guava continues to shape the city’s sound with textured, soulful production.
