“From that night of an unconcerned 9-0 confirmation in 2016, Darren Lee, the co-owner of TPR Palekana Planning and Permits, has recused himself 95 times from Commission decisions because of chronic conflict-of-interest concerns making him one of Honolulu’s most conflicted government officials personally accounting for 40% of the entire city’s conflict filings..
