"It's been 3 years today since Fusion Waikiki closed it's doors forever... Fusion was open for 28 years total, and I had been working there for 23 of those years... That place was a HUGE part of my life and the friends I've made there will always be like family to me... That said, here is a collage of Fusion Family photos that I made...

I apologize if I hadn't managed to fit some of you in here, I either didn't have a suitable photo, didn't have enough space or I (most likely) forgot (old, das why)... And big thank you to those who I might have stolen pics from! Hehe... xoxo"

We would like to congratulate a member of our Fusion Waikiki family, our always kind & humble former spotlight operator/diva -- who now gets to bask in her own well-deserved spotlight -- the beautiful soul known as Avi Pacheco... or "Miss HRC 2020 Youth Ambassador" if ya nasty! LOL... But in all seriousness, we are inspired by your journey, and all that you have had to overcome, and are so incredibly proud of all that you have since accomplished!! May your positivity and light continue to shine upon those LGBTQ+ youth that may be going through dark times! Mahalo for all that you do and please know that your Fusion fam is so, so proud of you!!

We were lucky to have snagged you as one of our resident DJs back in the early 90's, which was then followed by your numerous (& amazing) guest sets at Kids Klub, and we are forever grateful for you, your music, and for your influence on Hawaii's nightclub scene. You were a major reason why Hawaii's club scene -- especially in the 90's & 00's -- will always be fondly remembered as a wonderfully perfect and magical time for so many of us... forever! And although you will be sorely missed, you will NEVER be forgotten... Aloha 'Oe, dear friend...

And to our darling DIVAS -- the show in which we conceived, birthed... and then gave to Hula's to raise, LOL -- whether in Waikiki or not, we hope that you are able to continue your wonderful show! From your memorable cast numbers, to the girl's fierce & sometimes funny solo numbers, we hope that your fabulousness is able to continue on; somehow, someway, somewhere... (Waikiki, HI) - An end of an era! This Saturday, the Divas Drag Show will have it’s last show at Hula’s Bar & Lei Stand bringing an end of an era of local drag performers headlining shows in Waikiki’s nightlife.

On Saturday, December 21st 2019, you are cordially invited to join the cast of DIVAS for the final show of their residency at Hula's Bar & Lei Stand, in which we will take a fond look back on the past two and a half years by performing some of our crowd favorite cast & solo numbers for you. Joining us on stage that night will be former DIVAS cast member, the sexy & hilarious Tiana Annderson, who will be performing some of her classic, crowd favorite numbers, as well... and speaking of drunk, we will have Tito's Vodka on special at the bar that night, and a live DJ will be on hand to keep you dancing both pre and post-show. The show it's self will be starting at 10pm sharp and if you'd like to purchase a table reservation, you can do so online at HULAS.COM (this is a 21+ event).
