One of my favorite parts of this campaign is discovering the incredible ways our local businesses support one another.

At our visit to Cattle Dog Coffee Roasters this morning, we learned about a unique partnership between two Citrus County favorites.

Cattle Dog and Homosassa Distillery & Brewing Company teamed up to create Bark & Barrel Coffee- premium coffee beans aged in whiskey barrels to create a rich, distinctive flavor. (It sounds every bit as good as it smells!)

This is what makes Citrus County so special. When local businesses collaborate instead of compete, they create something that benefits all of us. It’s another reminder that the strength of our community has always been our people, our small businesses, and the relationships they’ve built together.

That’s the kind of Citrus County I’ll always work to support.
