Dearest Ination,
It is safe to say that what was once a club night has grown into a collective. From humble IGUN beginnings to Ination innovations, we've grown, blown up, fallen, failed, survived, learned, regrown, and thrived to make it to 27 wonderful years. That being said, we hope you are coming to enjoy our many different kinds of events; events that are inclusive; events that are for the marginalized; events for the freaks, by the freaks... featuring the best music in the dark alt underground.
Post-Covid, venues were shutting down left and right and we were hesitant to come back, but you demanded a return. For a few years, we hopped back and forth between bars; oftentimes the victim of the local economy and/or questionable business practices. We struggled to find a home. This caused a great amount of stress for our team. We fought, we cried it out, we healed... Then, we found a steady home with Frankies Toledo... and a year and some change thereafter, we've been able to expand to weekly events again, in a whole different way...
We are not the weekly club night in one city anymore... Those days are done. However, we run an event almost every week, across Ohio; running (or being featured in) events in: Toledo, Bowling Green, Fremont, Columbus, Hilliard... at multiple venues: Frankies, Cla-Zel Theater, MoonShine Nightclub, Ace of Cups, Black Swan, Wesley's Bar, Handmade Toledo, The Pale Horse , The Ottawa Tavern, etc...
We've expanded our roster and many of the originals have become player/coaches to fresh young talent; to help ensure that future generations have a place to call home; to ensure that our system of running events (THROUGH THICK AND THIN) is there to shield out the unfortunate circumstances that kill the momentum of many nights and collectives. This larger roster also ensures that no one misses a great opportunity gig. If one of our own gets an opportunity to play another city or state, we have coverage for a fresh new face to get reps... or room to bring back our legends. With all the cities we are starting to play across Ohio and other states, we can better utilize our rotation in travel. This is an education that is unfortunately too far forgotten. We just want to continue to build a safe system that platforms decent people who love doing what we do, for the people we enjoy doing it with and for.
That being said, we are celebrating Ination's 27 years (spanning multiple eras) on two back-to-back nights - featuring 2 carefully crafted, different lineups. Please, check out what we've been working on... Invite your friends, RSVP Going (it really helps us out) and have a great time.

In closing, this is my 20th Year Anniversary as a DJ. For a few years now, I had the goal of playing Bowling Green on this occasion, so that I could take a moment to say a few words to everyone in the city that really got me started. I'm bummed that I cannot do that... However, opportunity came up and ironically, I'm kind of the first to utilize this new system we've been creating. So, I will be opening for the Black Queen (members of Dillinger Escape Plan, NIN, Coheed and Cambria) in Cleveland that night (Pink Heartbrake will be going with). But, we don't do anything at Ination without attention and intention... We brought back the versatile legend, DJ Widget, and added my longtime friend, and rising name, Ghoztbomb, to the lineup alongside my LEGENDARY brothers, Hʌvok and Dj Darks Choir. You're in the best hands...
And... if you wanna see me and the very talented, Pink Heartbrake, we'll be throwing down the next night at Frankies Toledo for Night 2. Maybe I'll say a few words there. Who knows? It means so much to me, to get this far alongside the many people who helped me get to a 20 year DJ career, and to get Ination to a 27 year anniversary. This is the best time to include friends in what we all enjoy - dark dance music and a place to belong. I love you all. Thank you for everything you've given us, and see you soon.
