🚨 Attention Guests Ages 18–20 🚨
Our sister bar in Charlotte, Scorpio RSVP, has decided to no longer allow 18-20 year-olds in the building. Please help us not have to do the same!
Chemistry Nightclub has always taken pride in being a welcoming space for guests ages 18 and up. We understand that going out, socializing and dancing, and being part of the nightlife scene is an important part of the college and young adult experience—especially here in Greensboro, home to several colleges and universities.
However, over the past several months, there have been repeated issues involving a small number of individuals in this age group. These actions are forcing us to reevaluate whether we can continue offering access to guests under 21.
We want to continue welcoming you—but we need your help. To remain in compliance with NC law and to keep our space safe and enjoyable for everyone, the following Zero tolerance policies must be followed:
• No pre-gaming before arrival
• No consuming alcohol in the parking lot
• No HTC / CBD or any ma*****na derivative product consumption regardless of legality and/or medical necessity
• No bringing large bags/purses or attempting to sneak in alcohol
• No outside beverages of any kind
• No holding alcoholic beverages for guests 21+, even if for "a friend"
• One person per restroom stall at a time
• Do not remove armbands or wash off hand markings (if they fade, return to the front door immediately to have them reapplied)
We’ve taken multiple steps to address these concerns. Unfortunately, these efforts have led to negative feedback that doesn’t always reflect the full situation.
At the end of the day, our ability to continue serving the entire LGBTQ+ community—including our 18–20 guests—depends on everyone respecting the rules and the law. If these issues persist in the coming weeks, we will have no choice but to discontinue entry for guests under 21.
We appreciate those of you who do the right thing and help keep Chemistry a safe, fun, and inclusive space for all. We look forward to remaining one of the few spots in Greensboro to allow 18-20 year-olds come out!
