Brooklyn restaurant pioneer Mark Firth brings the same rustic delicious food he served at his previous restaurants Diner and Marlow & Sons, to the Berkshires. We use only the freshest produce, mostly from local farms, and we buy whole animals, so we go through all the different cuts of meat, and our menu changes daily. We take reservations for parties six or more by phone @ 413-528-5050.

We are generally not loving surprises these days but unexpected lambs born in freezing temps (yesterday morning) fall under the category of “Best Things”, especially as our Icelandic ewes can drop their small newborns on snow in the coldest temperatures and the vigorous babies pop up minutes later, ready to rumble.
