She grew up in the Smoky Mountains, the daughter of a farmer, and turned the stories, heartaches, and joys of that life into songs that reached millions. Her family is remembering the woman behind all those songs, and the happiness she gave the world.

We had a great Birthday Night at The County Opry. I am always touched by the pleasure people find there.

Beverly and I are blessed to be able to open the doors to the Opry and to the Church.

No doubt Arlene Philippi will have photos to post. She is such a blessing to all of us. Everyone in the The County Opry family holds a special place in my and Beverly's life. Beverly loves her PEEPS.

To all of you, thank you for being in our lives. You should know how much satisfaction and Love you bring to us.
