Sorry I missed today's meeting. My daughter was sick and I had to stay home with her. For now let's focus on our Rosy Mound Beach Clean-up for this Saturday 10-noon. See you there. Bring some work gloves.

Some of you volunteered to help out with picking up the fishing line from these containers along the South Pier, Coast Guard Station (not sure if there is one here), Chinook Pier Cleaning Station & Harbor Island this summer and fall. I just shot a short "how to" video complete with info on what to do with the line after you collect it. If you volunteered or even if you didn't but would like to help out, please go to:

and check out the video on how to empty the container safely and how to send the line away to be recycled. Fishing line takes over 600 years to degrade so recycling it is best.
