BIG NEWS!! 🎉🎉 IT'S HAPENING! We've gotten word that one of our tenants is moving out of our building, (while we are sad to see them go) this opened an opportunity for the rage room again! Pending inspections (we are completely confident the space will pass) we will be set to open in September 2024!

Hey guys! Here's the update nobody wanted! We had our state inspection, and it did not go as planned. Due to some expensive/excessive amount of upgrades the space would need to meet the states "requirements" (wanting exterior cement stairs widened, the bathrooms on the opposite side of the building operational, and a fireproof ceiling, with many more "updates") we will not be moving forward at this time with the rage room. With that, we are still working towards opening at a later date in a different space! We WILL make this happen, just not at this time! Thank you all so much for your donations, kind words, and support!! Keep following along for updates!

Update for all those asking:

We are still awaiting the state walk-through next week!! We may not open until the December or January! We are super bummed about this, but we are closer to opening!! Hang in there with us as we get things safely and correctly ready to go!

This last month has shown us so much about what our community needs. Our community needs things to do that don't involve drinking. It needs things to do for the teenagers & young adults. A few months ago when we heard some teens were running around smashing car windows for fun Taylor and I both said a rage room needed to come to our town! And guess what!? This past month we have heard SO MUCH FEEDBACK, especially from the teens in our area!! People are excited! It's so frustrating to think people are driving to Colorado in order to DO FUN THINGS or that drinking is the only thing to do in our town.. 🙃 That's so much lost profit for our community.

Those that don't know what a rage room is:

A rage room is a SAFE space to come let go of anger in a healthy way.

A rage room is a SAFE space to have fun

A rage room is a SAFE space to go hang out with friends

A rage room provides a SAFE space to break things

A rage room provides a SAFE space for entertainment

A rage allows you to SAFELY decompress after a long shift

A rage room is a SAFE space these teenagers and young adults can go when they feel overwhelmed

A rage room is so much more than just a place to smash stuff.

Our community truly needs businesses that can give our teenagers/young adults/stressed adults, and those struggling with mental health somewhere SAFE to deal with emotions!!

While the space doesn't have to be used if you are dealing with something it can also provide a SAFE space to just go have FUN.

Do please, when we open. Support this business. We want it to thrive. Not for our pockets, but for our community.

We are just plugging away!! SO MUCH STUFF!! We are so grateful for all your donations and can't begin to thank you enough! We are so ready to open!! We've been receiving SO MANY calls, messages and have been hearing people talking about how excited they are for the space to open!!

Commonly asked questions right now 📣📣📣

When are you opening?
-Tentative opening date October 27th

What days will you be open?
-To start Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday afternoons.

Can we still donate?
-Absolutely! We are allowing drop offs at the location! (Just leave items on back steps)

Can we bring our own items?
-Absolutely, as long as it's on the approved list you'll be able to smash it!

What kind of weapons will you have?
-baseball bats, hammers, sledgehammer, crowbars.

What do we need to enter?
-long sleeved shirts, pants and closed toed shoes

What does the smash room provide?
-goggles, hard hat, protective eye gear, gloves

What ages are allowed?
- At the moment allowing 13+ (children under the age of 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult and have a signed waiver)

What are your prices?
-We have different packages for different smash sessions, feel free to reach out with any questions regarding pricing!

How do we book?
-The opening dates will be walk ins or you can call to book! (After we get an idea of what we are looking at we will have a booking website)

Do we have to sign waivers?
YES! Waivers will need to be signed prior to smashing!

Will you allow parties?
-Yes we will allow parties, groups, christmas parties, and different events.

Where are you located?
-1450 10th st gering ne (basement level)

Will you be open any other days?
-If Friday-Sunday doesn't work for you shoot us a message and we can do a special reservation if we have availability!

Are you having themed smashes?
-YES WE ARE!

Will you be running any specials?
-Every now and then during our themed specials we will have certain discounts specific to each!

Holy smokes!! 😮 It's organizing day! Got about a 4th of the stuff organized, these pictures dont include electronics or appliances! 2nd picture is what we are still working on!! Still waiting on the state inspection! Hoping to hear from them soon to get a set in stone opening date!! It's getting closer!! We are getting so excited, we can hardly stand it!! 😫

Good morning! Quick update! We are still awaiting the state inspector to come out! It looks like we will be pushing our opening date back to mid or late October! We are so excited to open, and hate that we have to push things back, but we want to make sure the space is safe and ready for you all!!

We are getting so excited!! We had our city inspection (walk through today) jumping through the necessary hoops left. Starting painting soon and finishing electrical work this week!! Hoping to still be able to open the 1st but might have to consider another date pending our state inspection.

As for the very moment we are not picking up any more donations (pending my own surgery), but we are allowing donations to be dropped off! Message me if you have any questions 🙂
