Over the years, I've smoked thousands of ci**rs from just about every major brand and factory in the industry. If someone asked me to pick a single cigar as the best I've ever smoked, this would be my answer.
Only 1,500 humidors of 10 ci**rs were produced worldwide, and I was only able to secure 2 humidors, that's just 20 ci**rs total for Ash & Anvil. Given how limited this release was, I honestly don't know if I'll ever have the opportunity to get more once these are gone.
These ci**rs were rolled in Costa Rica and then sent to Spain for additional aging in rooms lined with various cedars and French oak. The result is an incredibly refined and complex smoke with notes of caramel, toasted nuts, oak, cream, leather, baking spices, and just the right amount of sweetness from beginning to end.
