There are some posts that are incredibly hard to write... and this is one of them.
After much thought, Austin and I have made the bittersweet decision to sell Bourbon Trail. Our last day behind the bar will be this Friday, and while our hearts are heavy, they are also overflowing with gratitude.
When we first opened these doors, we dreamed of creating a place where people could gather, laugh, celebrate life's biggest moments, and simply enjoy good drinks with great company. We never imagined just how much this little lounge would come to mean to us.
To every person who has walked through our doors—whether you stopped in once or became one of our regulars—thank you.
Thank you for supporting us, cheering us on, bringing your friends, attending our tastings, celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, engagements, and countless ordinary evenings that somehow became unforgettable. You turned Bourbon Trail into so much more than a cocktail lounge. You made it feel like home.
The friendships we've made, the stories we've shared, and the memories we've created together are something we will carry with us forever. We truly couldn't have asked for a more incredible community.
As difficult as it is to say goodbye, we couldn't be happier to pass the torch to Chris. From the moment we met him, we knew he shared the same passion for Bourbon Trail and its future. We are so excited to see where this new adventure takes him and can't wait to watch him make this place his own. We hope you'll welcome him with the same kindness and support you've always shown us.
Please come see us one last time this Friday so we can celebrate together, share a few hugs, raise a glass, and say thank you in person. It would mean the world to us.
