This weekend reminded us that even when the street is torn up and the odds aren’t in our favor, our community still shows up. To everyone who pushed through the construction, found a way in, and chose to support us — thank you.

Construction has swallowed our block for months, and we were informed today, they’re nowhere close to leaving. Being hidden like this is crushing for a small business — people can’t support what they can’t see. Just a little extra effort to park in the back.

But we’re still here. Still open. Still fighting, buried under a project we had no say in.

If you want Proper to stay in Fort Worth, this is the moment. A drink, a visit, a little love — it truly matters.

Let’s not let another small business disappear under big-company decisions. We’re here, and we’d love to see you.
