Soooo... it's with a heavy heart that I announce that Cloud City on Reilly Road will be closing. I would like to start by thanking all of the loyal customers for their years of patronage. This location had a great run for the first 10 years, but the last year in this economy has been brutal. Costs of everything, utilities, products, shipping costs, rent, etc., have all been rising rapidly over the last 2 years and we've resisted the urge to raise prices drastically, and even if we had, I don't think that would have helped. And, for anyone who hasn't seen it yet, Governor Roy Cooper signed NC HB900v6 into law in July which will essentially ban va**ng in North Carolina as of May 1st, 2025. The exact text of the law says that only va**ng products that have received "marketing approval orders" from the FDA will be able to be sold... and after four years of PMTA submissions, only 1 va**ng product, RJ Reynold's Vuse system has been approved. Big to***co in a big to***co state... go figure.
We haven't set an exact closing date yet, but the earliest will be November 1st, probably more like Thanksgiving. In the meantime, if you want to stock up on a favorite that nobody else carries, or some coils, let us know. We will be discounting bulk purchases and start heavily discounting the remaining products as the weeks go on.
Again, thank you for your support over the years. This business was started with the dream to help people get off of ci******es, and we've been able to do that for 11 years.
