Our Bourbon Butcher and Farmer’s Cellar crews spent the evening feeding a whole lot of people at Taste of Lakeville.

Bringing home the People’s Choice Award for Favorite Savory Food was a pretty great way to end the night.

Tommy gave us a preview of one of the Bacon Fest specials today: the Armadillo Egg.

A jalapeño stuffed with cream cheese, dry rub, bacon and a mixed cheese blend, wrapped in hamburger and more bacon, smoked, then served with BBQ glaze.

Reading this meant a lot to me. It’s been a hard year, and these little wins mean more right now than ever.

I know giving a restaurant a second chance can feel like a risk. Elisa’s first visit wasn’t what it should have been, but she came back. Suzette took great care of them, the kitchen gave them a meal they loved, and this time we got it right.

We’re really trying here. I’m proud of the people who keep showing up and putting in the work, and grateful to Elisa for giving us another shot. We don’t take that second chance lightly.
