A Journey through Burgundy at Entwined

Join us Tuesday, July 28th at 6 p.m. for the Carroll Wine & Spirits Wine Dinner — a five-course pairing menu built around the wines of Burgundy, France.

Michel Pascal, co-owner of Carroll Wine & Spirits, has spent years sourcing exceptional French wines through his own family’s ties to the region. For this dinner, he’s brought in Mark Kalachnik, a Burgundy specialist traveling from Indianapolis, to walk us through the wines he’s come to know firsthand — from his own trips to the vineyards and years of working directly with the producers.

The evening opens with a cremant, then moves through both white and red Burgundies alongside a five-course menu from our kitchen: charcuterie, broccoli salad, scallop ceviche, lamb loin chops, and a peach & apricot rum cake to close.

Guests will also have the chance to pre-order any of the featured wines that night at a discounted rate, if you fall in love with something on the table.

🌿 Weekend Special: The Wildling Salad 🌿

This one’s as local as it gets.

Dandelion, chickweed, fennel fronds, shunkyo radish, blueberries, and goat cheese — every single ingredient sourced right here from our local farms and growers. We tossed it all in a lemon lambrusco poppy seed dressing and called it the weekend’s most exciting plate.

Our hearts go out to the team at Samuel’s this morning.

A fire hit one of our favorite downtown neighbors today, and that hits close to home. The restaurant community in Evansville is small and tight-knit, and when one of us hurts, we all feel it.
