Lipz Dances was born to serve women in the Eugene area with a monthly dance. It’s for the community, by the community with the goal of providing you with a unique experience. You’ll undoubtedly find yourself grooving' when our own DJ Coco playing her amazing surging beatz and incredible explosive release of pure musical funkiness!!! Lipz Dances are held on the 2nd Saturday of each month, 7 – 11 PM

. We have friendly staff, monthly drink specials, and offer food from Diablo’s Restaurant! We also offer a "frequent dancer" punch card – attend 7 dances and the 8th is free! LIPZ DANCES – LAST CALL!!!

Many of you know by now that Saturday, October 12th, 7-pm – close is LIPZ DANCES last party and quite simply, we don’t want you to miss it – we want it to go out with a bang!!! If you haven’t seen the explanation for closing, or Diablo’s closing, please see the post below – there you will find everything you need to know. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will try to answer them to the best of our abilities.

This dance we are opening up to the entire LGBTQ community since before we were aware of Diablo’s closure; that was the direction we were going in. DJ Coco will be sending all us off with her amazing surging beatz!!!

Please let all of your friends know and let’s all celebrate our ability to have a monthly dance in our community for over the last 6-years and, let’s celebrate us!!!

Lipz Dances Closure After the October 12th Dance - Last Call!!!

It is with much regret that we must announce the closure of Lipz Dances because of circumstances beyond our control. Diablo's has lost their lease, and the owners do not want to carry on with Diablo's past (please see announcement below from Diablo's).

Diablo's demise came at a bad time as we were just getting ready to launch a new dance starting in October having an exclusive dance for women from 7-10pm and opening it up to all LGBTQ and allies from 10-close. We had felt for sometime that we needed to serve all of the community better and many of you had asked us to open to the LGBTQ community.

We were as shocked as you all probably are since Diablo's has been an institution for many years. It's the end of an era for them, and for women's dances in the community - we had a good run though of over six years (counting Hot Flash's contribution, as well as others). Many women have met their partners and friends at our dances, we’ve had some off-the-chart dances, and we’ve had a sense of community. The closing of Lipz Dances makes us sad, for just a few of these reasons.

We have decided to make October's dance the last one instead of November and to make it an all LGBTQ event so everyone can party and celebrate each other. I am out of town in November for my niece's wedding and I don't want to miss the last dance that I have worked so hard to keep in the community. I want to be there and celebrate with all of you what we've accomplished over the years. I think I deserve that.

Many may ask why not search for a new venue to hold the dances? They are far and few in between. We have searched exhaustively in the past, and instead of more now, there are even fewer options. We welcome anyone who has the energy to try and pick up where we have left off, and we salute anyone who can succeed at that. But, in all honesty, I am tired after 6-years of running women's dances and it's time I pass the hat on to others in the community if they choose to accept the challenge.

On a personal note, I have loved doing the dance and have loved the challenge to make as many people as I can happy at least once a month. I will miss seeing all of you, I will miss working with the Lipz Crew, I will miss the best DJ ever, Coco Rallings, I will miss seeing a group of women dancing their asses off, and I will miss Diablo's and all that have helped us put the dance on every month.

In conclusion, please mark your calendars for October 12th, 7pm to closing. We will throw a great going away party (Last Call) and we don't think you are going to want to miss it! Please tell all of your friends in the Women's and LGBTQ community! And let's pack the house and thank Diablo's for all they've done for the community!!!

LIPZ DANCES Sizzling Dance Party – This Saturday, September 14th, 7-11 PM!!!

C’mon you know you don’t want to miss this sexy September sizzler, and it’s just 2-days away!!!

Our LIPZ DANCES party was off the hook last month for Pride and we want you to blow it up before the end of summer! DJ Coco will be blasting it all night long by throwing down some serious pavement-pounding music that will seismically pulse throughout your body. So get stoked for this ridiculously tricked out house assault! Plus, we know you’re gonna want to celebrate the Duck’s win – GO DUCKS!!!

Additionally, we will have selected well drinks and beer specials throughout the night, food service is available, we have the downstairs exclusively for our dances, and the 100th woman in the door gets in free! And, for you later partiers, stay for the after party starting at 11 pm!

Come and bump and grind with us and show your support of our efforts to bring you a women’s monthly dance, and please pass the word onto your friends. We really want to pack the house and will be doing everything within our power to make it the best entertainment you'll experience every month. And you know, the more women, the HOTTER it gets!

Many kizzez to all who made last night's LIPZ PRIDE CELEBRATION Party a huge success and shook their booties all night to DJ Coco Rallings' off the hook music! Special thanks to the LIPZ staff, DJ Jordin Trainwreck McFly, and of course everyone at Diablo's and the community at large for coming together and standing tall and proud!

TWO more days until PRIDE!!!

Hang on to your rainbows stripes as LIPZ DANCES gets ready to bring you one of the most memorable PRIDE Celebrations and parties ever seen in Eugene. To show our PRIDE, we are partnering with Diablo’s and Saylor Ventures to bring you a weekend of outrageous love, fun, dancing, and debauchery. Of course, the LIPZ PRIDE Celebration Dance Party on Saturday, August 10th, 7pm to 1am will be a blowout with extended hours and open to all of the LGBTQ and allies community.

Here’s a sampling of the weekend’s PRIDE Celebration’s fabulous events:

Friday, August 9th:
• Deadly Sin featuring Bobby Austin and the Rightmen – a male exotic r***e, 9pm, $15.
• Erotic City – one of the best Prince shows ever! 10pm, $3.

Saturday, August 10th:
• LIPZ PRIDE Celebration Dance Party – we will be handing out swag and American Harvest Vodka, an organic and or****ic spirit will be doing sampling, plus, we will be having drink specials including Yager. DJ Coco will be tearing up the dance floor with all of her crowd-pleasing favorites. We will have the AC cranked and extra fans going to cool off all of you hotties! Open to all of the LGBTQ and allies community. Extended hours: 7pm to 1am, $10 (no frequent dancer's cards for this event).
• Foamalicious Dance Party – A back patio hot and sexy experience all lathered up in foam! 7pm to 11pm. Red Hook and Anheuser Busch specials. $*
• Pandora Boxx – Drag queen, actor, comedian, recording artist and writer – named by Entertainment Weekly as, “America’s Drag Superstar!” Main stage, 9pm – 12am. $*

Sunday, August 11th:
• Undie Sunday - a gender and sexuality-inclusive night to shimmy in your skivvies while you dance. Features male and female go-go dancers. 8pm to 12am, $3.
• Karaoke – 9pm, $3.

Prices/Passes available*:
• Weekend pass: $30 (all parties, all access)
• Saturday, August 10th day/night pass $20 (includes LIPZ PRIDE Celebration Dance, Foamalicious Dance Party, and Pandora Boxx)

What a great party last night - DJ Coco really blew the doors off!!! So much fun watching everyone having a great time and the women's community coming together and packing the house! Thanks so much for making LIPZ DANCES a success, we couldn't do it without you, DJ Coco, our staff, and Diablo's!

We'll have photos and videos posted in the next few days, but in the meantime, here's a snippet of video - DJ Coco kicking it!

See you in July and mark your calendar for our big blowout Pride dance August 10th. We are teaming up with Diablo's to bring you a huge celebration. More details to come, so stay tuned!
