HAPPY FRIDAY! 🍸

Jacob’s holding down the fort behind the bar tonight, and he’s ready to shake things up!

Come hang out, work your way through some of our new fall cocktails, or let Jacob get creative and whip up something completely off-menu just for you. 👀

One of his favorite things to do is create custom cocktails, so tell him what flavors you love and let him work his magic…

Good drinks, great conversations, and a Friday night at Wheat Penny. What more could you ask for? 🥃

It’s Wednesday, and you know what they say… came for the cocktails, stayed for the food. 🍸🍴

Our fall menu is bringing all the cozy flavors right now: handcrafted cocktails alongside food that deserves just as much attention.

Think warm pretzel bites, pork belly sliders with bourbon BBQ and crisp apple fennel slaw, plus plenty of other bites made for sharing around the table.

Come hungry. Grab a cocktail. Stay awhile. 🥃

Reviews like this mean so much to us! 🙏

Our goal with Wheat Penny has always been to create a place where the drinks and food are great, but the hospitality is what you remember.

So when someone celebrates their anniversary with us and leaves saying the service was better than anything they’d experienced in Chicago… that’s a pretty special compliment for us.

And a huge shoutout to Jacob for doing what he does best; taking care of people and making some damn good drinks along the way. 🍸

Stefanie, thank you for spending your anniversary with us and for taking the time to leave such kind words. We’ll be ready when you bring those friends back.

A couple months ago, Eric Nyberg came into Wheat Penny for the first time with some friends. Fun fact: Michael and his sister actually knew Eric from their college days!

They came in for some drinks, we got to talking, and at some point Eric casually sat down at our piano and started playing. 🎹

And pretty quickly we all had the same thought…

We’ve gotta have this guy back!

Well, TONIGHT he’s officially back!

Eric is making the trip down from Chicago to spend the evening behind the keys at Wheat Penny, and we’re excited for you guys to hear him. 🙌🏼

Grab a cocktail, find a seat and hang out with us tonight from 8–10 PM!

No tickets. No reservations. Just a fun Friday night, good drinks & live piano. We have a feeling it’ll be a packed house.

See you tonight!

Some menu items just have a way of becoming the thing everyone talks about… and our Pork Belly Sliders are officially one of them. 🤤

Applewood-smoked pork belly piled onto toasted slider buns, covered in our bourbon BBQ sauce, then finished with a crisp Granny Smith apple + fennel slaw for the perfect little bite of smoky, sweet, tangy & fresh.

They’ve quickly become a Wheat Penny fan favorite…and if you haven’t tried them yet, consider this your sign.

Come hungry. See you soon.🍎🥃

🎄 What if your company Christmas party had ALL of Miracle at Wheat Penny to itself?

This year during Miracle, we’ll be closed to the public on Mondays… but we decided those nights were too magical to leave empty.

So we’re opening up a limited number of Mondays for private Christmas parties!

Picture your team walking downstairs into a fully decked-out Miracle Bar, having the entire place to yourselves, with our bartenders behind the bar making festive cocktails all night long. 🍸🎅

If your business has been looking for something a little different for this year’s Christmas party…this is your sign.

🎄 PRIVATE MONDAYS AVAILABLE:
December 7th
December 14th
December 28th
January 4th

There are only FOUR available, so once they’re booked, they’re booked!

Have a smaller group? Our Vault will also be available for Christmas parties of up to 20 people during our regular Miracle hours. Reservations for the Vault will open within the next month.

Interested in taking over Wheat Penny for the night? Shoot us an email and let’s get your Christmas party on the calendar. 🎄🥂
