Harnett Area Shag Association - HASA HASA is a Shag Dance Club dedicated to enjoying and sharing the North Carolina Official State popular dance, The Shag.

You’ll find the Harnett Area Shag Association shagging the nights away in Dunn, NC., located 2 hours from the Crystal Coast, 5 hours from the oldest mountains in the world and 1 hour from the Research Triangle. The club dances on the second (mostly, sometimes, third) Friday of the month at the DUNN SHRINE CENTER (check the websites Monthly Calendar for date changes occasionally).

$8 for members,

$12 for non-members on DJ nights... $25 membership good through Dec. 31 of the current year. The Shrine Center is a non- smoking facility with a cash bar and a large 45’ x 40’ area dance floor. The Harnett Area Shag Association or HASA provides a nice spread of appetizers for the members and guests. With so many shag clubs within a reasonable evening drive to Dunn, members and guests usually number over 100 on an average evening. The Harnett Area Shag Association is a warm friendly club that keeps the dance floor busy and has a fun time doing it! (shagtour.com)

What a fun party we had last night with DJ Butch Halpin & The Carolina Sounds Beach Show. Thanks to all of our volunteers who put this together, Jimmy and Ann Bailey, Beverly Hobgood, Hobgood, Duane Baggett, Tim and Karen Mclamb, Virginia Chiarella , Doris Tyndall and to everyone who brought food to enjoy.
