DIVA POLICY:

To join the LNO Family the age requirement is 21+ years old. For all potential DIVA’s there is a $20 membership fee required within 2 weeks of acceptance. The $20 fee covers membership ($10) and 1st month dues ($10). Potential DIVA’s have a 90 days (3 months) probation after joining to consider a decision to com
mit. New DIVA’s:
a. Committee will vote after the potential’s LNO’s interview to determine if she is a good fit for the LNO family. DIVA can also decide if this is a good fit for them. c. 3 months’ probation
DIVA’s returning after 1year, are required to pay a $20 re-joining membership fee within 2 weeks of acceptance. Standby DIVA’s there is a 1 year term, then a decision need to be made if they would like to join the LNO Family. LNO DIVA color is: Silver. All DIVA’s should have an email address to receive all DIVA Mail communications. Each DIVA will give the minimum of $40 in an envelope with their name at each event, and could expect to spend the maximum of $45 per event including 1 alcohol beverage. Any additional alcohol beverages are to be paid out-of-pocket, a minimum of $40 or a maximum of $45. No refunds for deposits given on events that require one. Once attendance confirmation is given to a DIVA event, fees are expected to be paid regardless of your attendance. (Only if tickets are purchased in advance (not Cash and Carry). Emergency exceptions are determined case by case. Event attendance codes are as followed:
X = Present
N/A = No Event
SO = Scheduled Out (2 weeks before event)
• No payment is required for LNO DIVA Event. USO = Unscheduled Out (days before or day of event).
• Events paid or collected in advance for an event (payment is required to be returned to LNO DIVA account).
• Cash and Carry payments paid the day of the events (no payment is required). NS = No Show
C = Cancelled
Any event prices over our maximum should be run by DIVA Sparkle to bring to committee for a vote. DIVA Sparkle will send out all DIVA Mail emails to eliminate confusion. DIVA Event emails should be filtered to DIVA Sparkle with all information regarding their Event, please included, duration time and dress code (diva casual or diva club attire) in your email for the event. DIVA Sparkle will then send out notification/invitation of your event. Table talk:
a. Check (Bill) or food issues leave to DIVA Sparkle. Other issues bring to DIVA Sparkle attention after the event or the next day if possible. All DIVA’s names are to be used or addressed at all DIVA Events and Meetings
Dues are due the 1st of every month but payable by the 15th. At the end of the year, each DIVA that paid on time during the year will get an incentive of 42% refund usable toward next year dues (no dues for 5 months) or 1 Event (no Event fee). Outstanding balance of 2 months of dues is cause to forfeit your ladies night event to a later date). And you cannot participate in a Ladies Night Out event, if your dues balance is 2 months overdue. Out-of-State DIVA’s can make payments of $25 for the year or $10 when in town at the time of a “Ladies Night Out” Event plus LNO minimum/maximum for event. At the end of the year each DIVA that paid on time during the year will get an incentive of 40% refund usable toward next year dues (no dues for the year) or 2 Events (no Event fee). If you miss two or more consecutive LNO events you will be suspended until further notice. We understand that things come up and we will try to plan these evenings one month in advance to accommodate everyone. You must inform event host and Diva Sparkle when scheduling out 2 weeks before the event. Also a tardiness call should be given within 30 minutes prior to event time. Inform: DIVA Sparkle or the hostess before event.
3rd warning results in a suspension for end of the year bonus. Day of Events (there will be a 15 min window)
a. We will no longer wait for anyone after the15 minute window
i. When reservation have been required
ii. If you are driving, we can meet at the venue
iii. Warnings will be issued to any DIVA that doesn’t call or show for an event
No fighting! Fighting will not be tolerated, automatic termination! Also, constant ATTITUDES, and EXCESSIVE profanity will not be tolerated as well. I understand everyone might not agree on some subjects. Disagreements should be worked out among the parties involved; if not the committee would intervene. Any Officer of the Committee is to be nominated, should already be within the committee. Other Divas can be nominated and voted in an Officer role after 3 months of being a DIVA with good standings. Resigning DIVA’s are required to give a month notice. Also, dues are non-refundable they are considered service rendered. When branching off to your own Diva chapter, only after the first chapter reaches its capacity of 20 members. After 2 year of consistency within LNO group or with a vote of the committee whichever one is sooner. DIVA must demonstrate knowledge of ALL LNO’s policies. All Divas are required to remember and state DIVA Mission Statement at any moment.
