BIG ANNOUNCEMENT! You will be seeing a bit of Lost River this year and even more next year (more on that below). But first things first - the new bar soft opens next Thursday 11/16! It will be one of the only spaces in Detroit dedicated to film.
Expect movies playing all the time, set showtimes each day to watch a film with “sound on,” crazy midnight cinema, film chats with industry professionals and a cozy / communal environment. The menu will be wine forward with a sizable beer and na selection. The best part? Our friends are programming double features every Sunday and is BACK every single day (Thurs - Sun) to provide both APT and Fourth Wall the best darn food in Detroit. Oh and if you’ve been craving Jasmine’s food you are in for a treat: every Sunday during the double feature we will have brunch 11 am to 6 pm. You will be able to take cocktails from APT to Fourth Wall or drinks from Fourth Wall to APT. The best of both worlds!
Featured artists on the walls of Fourth Wall at launch include (Nov + Dec 2023), (Jan + Feb 2024) and (Mar + April 2024).
Lost River will be back a few times in the space in November + December including our annual night-before-Thanksgiving Golden Girls Marathon with special cocktails (and contributions from the one and only@shannonmustipher). will also have Golden Girls on the old TVs upstairs while and host the ultimate golden girls disco dance party. As for the future of Lost River, we are working on a new space that will better showcase our favorite spirit, rum, in a more intimate setting. We are also hard at work on a new cocktail book, planning fun stuff with in 2024 and will have a few pop ups to keep ya going through the winter. 🍹
