I just realized I only added this to our stories. We hit our target money goal late Friday! We will hopefully hear from the mlcc next week about the new location. I can’t wait to get to work. Thank you so much for the love and support! It’s overwhelming to see everyone rally to help make this dream come true. The Detroit hospitality scene is like no other! ❤️

Dear fans of The Keep,

So many of you have inquired as to whether The Keep would re-open or not. Thank you so much for the love and words of support over the years. Y’all have been the inspiration behind every decision I’ve made since closing The Keep.

We have come close to brokering a deal with the landlords on two separate occasions but alas it was not meant to be. A new prospective tenant has signed a letter of intent recently.

For those who are curious, in 2022 a burst pipe flooded the basement, ground floor, and 2nd floor of the building. I did sign a letter of intent late 2023 but that lapsed when the landlords lost their general contractor for the renovations.

So, now for some good news! We are knee deep in the process of being approved by the MLCC for an entirely different location. It’s is a turnkey bar in a neighborhood that you are all very familiar with. I’ll post more information on here when the time comes.

Plenty have asked about merch from The Keep. I decided to re-release our merchandise in order to raise funds for the next endeavor. PLEASE buy a shirt and sticker from our shopify store. We still have quite a bit to f money to raise. There is a link in the bio!

Please note that these will only be available for a limited time. Once we get clearance from the mlcc The Keep merch will be replaced with merch for the new bar.
