Tonight, Russ Macklem’s Detroit Quintet brings the sound of its new album to Cliff Bell’s.

Led by Windsor-Detroit trumpeter Russ Macklem, the quintet features Kasan Belgrave on alto saxophone, Jordan Anderson on piano, Michael Abbo on bass and Louis Jones III on drums. Expect original compositions, the energy of a live recording session and a sound rooted in the great jazz groups of the early 1960s.
