Tonight! Dantiez sets the tone.

While the hype builds for Tinzo + JoJo, don’t sleep on the Detroit support. Dantiez Saunderson comes from one of Detroit’s most important musical families, carrying forward the legacy of his father, techno pioneer Kevin Saunderson, while carving out his own lane across house, techno, and the global dance floor.

He’s Detroit through and through—and having an artist with that kind of lineage and connection to the city set the tone for the night is a big deal. Get there early. Doors at 9PM, you are going to want to be in the room from the start and Dantiez will be setting the vibes HIGH from the jump.

Then it’s TINZO + JOJO taking over.

Colorblind & Camera Loaded 📸

Meet Pete Larson — Michigan-based photographer, musician, Detroit music lover, and apparently living proof that you do not need to see color to make people look good.

Pete brought out his Fujifilm X-T50 and Ricoh GR III for Charivari Detroit at TV Lounge, plus a little film-camera magic for good measure. And yes, the irony is not lost on him: Fujifilm is famous for its colors… and Pete is colorblind. So naturally, he doesn’t use them.

Whatever you want to call the style — colorblind night shooting, Detroit after dark, or just Pete doing Pete things — the results speak for themselves.

It was an absolute honor having Pete in the building working his craft and capturing the people, energy, movement and some of the moments that made Charivari Detroit at TV Lounge special.

Four days. Two iconic venues. Nine events. Seventy DJs. One family. One culture.

For 10 incredible years, Charivari Detroit has built something special… a festival that celebrated Detroit’s legendary DJs, artists, producers, and welcomed talented friends from around the globe. It became more than a festival—it became a family reunion on the dance floor.

Summer won't be over until TV Lounge says it is.

We're kicking off September the only way we know how—with a dance floor full of smiles, sweat, and seriously good music. Join us as we welcome back one of Chicago House music's most beloved selectors, Jamie 3:26, for a night built around groove, connection, and that unmistakable feeling that only a packed dance floor can create.

A true crowd favorite, Jamie 3:26 has become one of Chicago's finest ambassadors of House music. Whether he's digging into timeless classics or the freshest underground heat, his gift is reading a room and taking dancers exactly where they want to go—sometimes before they even know it themselves. Fresh off appearances at Chosen Few, Defected Croatia, London's newest mega-venue, and clubs across the globe, Jamie returns to Detroit with the same soulful energy, impeccable taste, and dancefloor magic that keeps people coming back every time.

Joining him is one of Detroit's most exciting rising forces, Dej.y. Guided early on by the legendary Amp Fiddler, Dej.y has carved out her own lane with deep, hypnotic rhythms, powerful percussion, and cosmic musical storytelling. Her sets effortlessly blend soul, house, broken beat, and bass-heavy grooves into an experience that's emotional, adventurous, and impossible to stand still through.

Holding it down for the hometown is Eddie Logix, one of Detroit's most dependable dancefloor architects. Eddie has built a reputation for delivering infectious, high-energy sets packed with soulful house, timeless classics, and underground gems. His ability to lock into the crowd and keep the momentum climbing makes him one of TV Lounge's favorite selectors and the perfect bridge between Chicago soul and Detroit rhythm.

Opening the evening is Angela Baskets, whose fearless musical palette fuses 90s hip-hop, disco, funk, Chicago house, and Detroit electronic sounds into one irresistible ride. Every set is packed with personality, surprises, and feel-good energy that reminds everyone why we fell in love with dance music in the first place.

The weekend may wind down after four days of festivities, but the music won’t be finished just yet.

Join us Sunday night at TV Lounge as Charivari Detroit closes out another unforgettable weekend with one final gathering of family, friends, and dancers who know the best stories are often written on the very last dance floor.

Leading the celebration is Baltimore house music icon DJ Spen—producer, remixer, founder of Quantize Recordings, and one of the most influential figures in modern soulful house music. From his early days with Numarx and co-writing the worldwide hit Girl You Know It's True, to legendary work with the Basement Boys alongside artists like Michael Jackson, Crystal Waters and Ultra Naté, to Grammy-nominated productions and Billboard chart-toppers, Spen has spent decades shaping dance music across the globe. Every set is filled with soul, joy, and the unmistakable energy of someone who truly understands how to move a room.

Joining him is the incomparable Kai Alcé, whose journey from Detroit's Music Institute to Atlanta's legendary DEEP residency and his globally respected NDATL label has made him one of America's true house music visionaries. His deep, elegant grooves connect generations and cities, bringing together Detroit, New York, Atlanta, and dance floors around the world.

Representing Detroit is LADYMONIX, whose infectious blend of deep house, disco, funk, and soulful rhythms has made her one of the city's brightest stars. Through her Frizner Electric label and acclaimed releases on Planet E, Studio Barnhus, Soul Clap Records and beyond, she continues to prove why she's one of the most exciting DJs and producers working today.

Opening the evening is Detroit's own Zoe Talley, whose adventurous, bass-driven sets weave together Black musical traditions with fearless contemporary sounds. Their selections move effortlessly through genres, creating immersive journeys that perfectly set the stage for an unforgettable finale.
