happiest of holidays, friends + fam.
just like you, we’ve been staying pretty close to home these past few weeks.
and — also like you —we’re reminiscing about some of our favorite christmases and new years’ celebrations gone by. while we may not be able to celebrate with you as we have in the past, the good news is, we are still *so* very here for you.
we’ve been busy scheming up delicious ways to help you shake things up + create magic at home this holiday season — and that includes everything you need to ring in a very happy {not to mention, long-awaited} new year.

A Special Note from our , Kendra Anderson:

bar helix = home

i don’t mean that metaphorically.

bar helix was never just my business. it represented everything to me that the word *home* is usually associated with. safe haven. a place to dream, and to be encouraged. somewhere that is always familiar, always waiting. a space to create traditions and memories, to be replayed over every year. home is where your family is, your people, your tribe, your , your community. home is where we all feel comfortable -- to be seen and loved for exactly who we are. bar helix was all of this for me, and so much more.

perhaps most importantly, home is a place that brings you joy. and sometimes, if you’re as lucky as i am, you also get to create joy -- for you, and for others, many of whom i’d never met before and very likely will never see again. bar helix -- which could only ever have existed because of you -- gave me endless joy.

i’ll never be able to fully express my gratitude for the three years of support you gave me and the many incredible members of my team. and although we are closing our doors for now, we are working hard to find a way to reopen and welcome you back as soon as we are safely able to do so.

so until we meet again, and with all of my love -- thank you.

as most of you know, we are temporarily closed. The Denver Post published this piece on the current state of affairs around town for our industry.

as you will learn, our team has started a fundraising campaign to keep our doors open. until additional relief comes from Congress, we are in a tough spot to pay off our rent shortfall from various months this year and other financial obligations required to reopen. the link to donate can be found in the comments below.

we know so many of you are rooting for us and are grateful for any additional support you can give at this time to our fundraising campaign. there's nothing we want more than to be able to get back to serving you!

Among those closed for now are Broadway Market, The Way Back, Brightmarten, Earnest Hall, Shanty Supper Club and Bar Helix.
