Bill played in the Knucklehead Open for over 15 years with Ed, the “Cigar Rep,” and various other teammates. The one constant all those years was Bill saying, “well, I guess I don’t really need to hit, I’ll just putt this hole.” From this year forward, the #9 Long Putt Skill challenge hole at Delaware Golf Club will be known as the: “Bill Owen ‘IJP’ Long Putt Hole.” We miss our buddy and look forward to celebrating his life June 14th at 1pm with our friends at Restoration Brew Worx.
