Some Saturdays you pick one game. This isn't one of them.

It starts at noon in Bloomington — Ohio State at Indiana, the Big Ten title rematch, on the big screen from kickoff. Get here early; once this one starts, nobody's moving.

Hockey takes the evening: Rangers at the Blue Jackets at 7:00, home ice at Nationwide.

And playoff baseball under the lights after that: Rays at Guardians, ALCS Game 5, at 8:00. Last night's Game 4 decided whether tonight is a close-out or a swing game — either way it's in Cleveland, on our screens.

Noon to close, three reasons to stay. What's your shift — early, late, or the whole day?

Three o'clock on a Friday. You already know how this night goes.

Tonight both games land at once: 8:00 — Rays at Guardians, ALCS Game 4 in Cleveland, and Washington at Purdue, same start, both on our screens. Guardians up 2-1 after Thursday's 3-2 win in Cleveland.

Pick your screen before you pick your stick — tonight you have to commit to one first.

Baseball or football — where do your eyes start?

Friday Cigar Talk, and the crew watching last night's game got into it — so settle it for them.

Habano or maduro?

Dark, rich and sweet — or brighter with a little spice up front. There's no wrong answer, but there IS a wrong opinion, and it's whichever one the guy next to you holds.

Cast your vote in the comments. Losing side buys the next round.

Friday night, and the weekend starts here.

Two games, one start time. Playoff baseball — Rays at Guardians, Game 4 of the ALCS — and Washington at Purdue, both at 8:00, both on our screens.

Pick your screen, pick your stick, settle in. Fridays don't ask you to choose here.

Baseball or football first — where do your eyes go?

Bourbon Thursday doesn't care about the weather in Cleveland.

The Guardians played the early game today — first pitch was moved up to 1:00 ahead of the storms — and tonight at the shop is ours:

Bourbon Thursday, all night long.
8:15 — Seahawks at Broncos, Thursday Night Football.
8:00 — Brewers at Dodgers, NLCS Game 4, for the baseball diehards.

Pour's ready when you are.

Quick question for a Thursday: how much time are you actually giving this one?

A robusto is honest about it — 45 minutes, in and satisfied. A churchill makes no such promise. It settles in, and so do you.

Neither's wrong. But everybody's got a default.

Short and sweet, or long and slow — which one picks you tonight?

Schedule change — and a good catch by one of our regulars in the comments this morning.

MLB moved today's Guardians game up: Rays at Guardians, ALCS Game 3, now starts at 1:00 PM (was 6:00) to beat the storms rolling into Cleveland tonight.

We'll have it on from first pitch. Afternoon baseball and a cigar — not a bad Thursday.

Tonight still goes as planned: Bourbon Thursday, and Seahawks at Broncos at 8:15.

Some Thursdays have a plan. Ours is simple: a pour, a stick, and nowhere to rush off to.

It's Bourbon Thursday at Woodland. The pairing question never really gets settled here — sweet and rich on one side of the lounge, bold and spicy on the other.

Where do you land? Name the pairing you'd put up against anyone's.

Thursday's lineup, in order:

6:00 — Rays at Guardians. The ALCS comes home to Cleveland for Game 3, and it's on our screens from the first pitch.

8:15 — Seahawks at Broncos. Football takes the late slot.

Baseball first, football after, a good stick for both. That's the whole plan.
