It's Ribfest today!

The one day of the year downtown is guaranteed to be packed.

Due us a favor. Come down and pack downtown. Eat some ribs. Drink some b**r. Enjoy the bands. Stop in the bar and show how Defiance knows how to have a responsible good time.

A huge thank you to the visitors bureau, the city, the police department, and all the volunteers for pulling off an incredible event. It's a huge undertaking for them and the busiest day of the year for the bar.

If you plan on drinking please plan a dd or call or cab for a ride home . The bar has business cards for the taxi services if needed.

See you at the fest!

Ribfest is coming up this Saturday and we hope to see everyone out for the fest. It's a great day for the bar and a great day for downtown.

Just a few friendly reminders.

Our kitchen is closed that day, bar only. Our pizza is delicious but there is no way we can compete with all that fabulous food on the street. Feel free to grab some ribs and bring them into the bar to eat. We will have all the big games on the big screens for you to enjoy while you eat.

We are 21 and up only that day. Since we are just selling beverages it is too busy of a day to let anyone under 21 in .

Our back entrance will be closed until 11pm to help insure the safety of the festival.

No DORA that day. With the multiple liquor licenses involved for the day it is the only way to satisfy liquor control laws .

All alcoholic beverages bought on the street must stay outside of the bar on the street. All alcoholic beverages bought in the bar must stay in the bar. It's two different liquor licenses and they cannot cross.

We fully cooperate with the visitors bureau, the city, and the police department. It's a day we get to see downtown packed and we want to help make it another successful event.

Hope to see you at the fest!
