Update from LaLa’s Community
It truly breaks my heart to have to make this announcement, but our July 5th Grand Opening and our July 7th Community Giveaway are being postponed until further notice.
Over the past several weeks, I have done everything within my power to get this issue resolved. I immediately hired a licensed plumber, obtained camera inspections, submitted documentation, made countless phone calls and emails, met with City representatives, and have continued providing any information requested in hopes of reaching a solution as quickly as possible.
Unfortunately, we are still in the middle of a dispute regarding a sewer collapse affecting the property. Based on the information I’ve received, I believe the problem involves infrastructure beyond my building, but the matter is still being reviewed. While that process continues, I cannot safely open the venue or host community events.
This situation has affected not only my business but also my tenants and the plans we’ve worked so hard to put together for the community. Anyone who knows me knows that I don’t give up easily, and postponing these events was not a decision I wanted to make.
Please know that this delay is not due to a lack of effort. I have fought every step of the way to get this resolved, and I will continue advocating until the issue is addressed. My priority has always been protecting the health and safety of everyone who walks through our doors.
I sincerely appreciate everyone’s patience, prayers, and support during this difficult time. LaLa’s was created to bring people together, and I promise that when we finally open our doors, we’ll do it the right way.
Thank you for standing with us. I’ll continue keeping everyone updated, and as soon as this matter is resolved, new dates for both the Grand Opening and Community Giveaway will be announced.

There is so much negativity in the world today, but together we can make a difference right here in our own community.
is asking everyone to look through their closets, storage rooms, garages, and hearts and help us bless someone else. What may no longer be useful to you could mean everything to a family in need.
We are collecting NEW and GENTLY USED clothing, shoes, coats, blankets, and other wearable items for our next Community Giveback.
