As a beverage, kava kava dates back 3,000 years. People in the Pacific Islands have spent millennia imbibing this root for its mood-boosting, calming effects. Now fast forward to modern-day Northern California where two ethnobotanists decided to share kava with their community. What they created is Root of Happiness, a place where you’ll find an alternative to the intensity of the bar scene. We serve FDA-inspected, lab-tested kava in a range of delicious specialty drinks. And we’re proud to bring people together in our tropical ambiance so they can relax, grab a bite to eat, and enjoy what is likely to become their new favorite way to unwind.
