Danville Boat Club The Danville Boat Club has meals for our members on Tuesday and many Friday nights, plus social even You don't have to own a boat to join.

The Boat Club is a non-profit social club located on the west bank of Lake Vermilion in Danville, Illinois. The club features 1-2 special events each month for the members. Our kitchen & wait staff of 11 prepares some of the best meals in town! Application information is on our website. The clubhouse is available for rental for wedding receptions, class reunions and other events. Check out our web

site at www.danvilleboatclub.com for menu options and rates. Our food service staff will also cater events off premises. We are known for our Prime Rib dinners the last Friday of each month. Prime Rib is slow roasted in our outdoor oven.

Our Story

The Danville Boat Club is a non-profit social club located on the west bank of Lake Vermilion in Danville, Illinois. The Club was first known as the Walnut Hill Boat Club in the 1920’s. After the Depression in the 1930’s, another group incorporated as the Danville Boat Club in 1937. The club features 1-2 special events each month for the members and some are open to the public. You don't have to own a boat to join. Our kitchen & wait staff of 11 prepares some of the best meals in town! Application information is on our website. Come enjoy Lake Vermilion with us. Dining on the deck when the weather is good. Boating events, fireworks in July, hot air balloons etc. You don’t have to own a house on the lake to enjoy the lake!
