SPLF 2027 – Emcee Peggy Sue

SPLF is pleased to announce our 2027 main stage daytime Emcee, Peggy Sue!

Peggy Sue will lead us with a lot of humor and a little snark at the SPLF 2027 Celebrating our Titleholders Luncheon on Friday and the Sunday Keynote Brunch.



Peggy Sue is a high femme d**e and lifelong connoisseur of butches. She has been a member of the leather community since 1992, and has volunteered at countless events like IML, IMsLBB, Ms SF Leather and SPLF. Known for her vibrant colorful personality and occasionally terrifying social presence, she loves to play with fear, bullying and rough s*x on both sides of the slash.

SPLF 2027 – Emcee Daddy Rod

SPLF is pleased to announce our 2027 main stage evening Emcee, Daddy Rod!

Daddy Rod will take the mic for SPLF’s Debauchery Dinner and Show on Thursday, the IMs IPOL Contest Opening on Friday and the big IMs IPOL Contest Finale on Saturday night!

Daddy Rod is a respected educator, and has presented at a variety of Leather and Kink programs. He is the co-founder of the ONYX Mid-Atlantic Chapter and co-hosts the podcast, “Listen to Daddy” with Mr. Iowa Leather 2015, Daddy Rob. Rod served as Leatherman of Color 2011 and American Leatherman 2017. He is an alumnus of the MTTA 2008 Masters’ Training and earned Pantheon of Leather Awards for Northeast Regional (2014), and Man of the Year (2018).

At South Plains Leatherfest, Bootblacks aren’t tucked away in a corner. They are front and center, exactly where they belong.

Applications are now open to Bootblack at South Plains Leatherfest 2027. This year, your space is getting a breathtaking new home.

Imagine this…a beautiful Bootblack space with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the water, natural light pouring in, community gathering nearby, and some of the most meaningful pieces of our shared Leather history surrounding you including the IMs & IPOL History Wall and our beloved Leather Quilt, honoring the people and legacy that brought us here.

Bootblacks have always been and will continue to be a vital part of SPLF. Whether you are preserving leather, offering care, creating moments of connection, teaching through your craft, or simply helping someone feel seen through a good shine and a good conversation, you help make the magic of SPLF happen.

SPLF Host Hotel Details!

We are beyond excited to welcome you to our stunning new home for South Plains Leatherfest 2027.

Room options include:
• Queen Rooms
• King Rooms
• Suites
• Waterfront Rooms
• Rooms with Balconies
• Terrace Access Rooms that open directly outside

And because we know y’all like the details:
Room Rates
Standard Rooms: $139/night
Suites: $209/night

Host Hotel Stay Requirement
The host hotel requires a 3-night minimum stay on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. Plenty of rooms are available on the nights prior to SPLF and after for the many of you who like to arrive early and stay late!

Only 4 Floors = Easy Access
One of the things we love most about this property is how incredibly easy it is to navigate. No endless elevator waits (too soon?) or trekking across a mega-property. Your leather family, education, parties, contests, and connection will all feel wonderfully close. All SPLF events will be on the ground floor, and room access will be the only reason to use an elevator!

ADA Rooms
If you require an ADA-accessible room, please consider registering and reserving your room as early as possible. These rooms tend to go quickly, and we want to do our very best to support your needs.

Protecting Our Community
As always, the hotel reservation link will not be shared publicly online. To help protect our people and maintain the integrity of our bubble, you will receive access to the hotel reservation link after you register for SPLF. Can you share the link with your friends? Sure, just don't post it!

Now… let’s talk about the annual host hotel panic.
Historically, our host hotel sells out very quickly. But we got you. We will maintain a host hotel wait-list, and every single year we successfully move people into the host hotel as cancellations happen (and trust us… they always do).

PLUS, for 2027 we are adding two overflow hotels less than ½ mile away, with a continuous shuttle loop running between all three hotels throughout the day and evening to make movement easy.

Your South Plains Staff has been working hard behind the scenes to make this transition smooth, accessible, and honestly… pretty damn magnificent.

We cannot wait to welcome you home to the lake in 2027.
