Hi everybody,

This is John Readey. Our long time friend, bartender and office manager of MardiGras, Heather Lavallee (now Heather Martin) needs our help to help her dad who is fighting a serious health challenge and the egregious expenses that accompany it.

We’re having a great event with some awesome bands - Steve Smith and the Nakeds, Through the Doors, Piece of My Pearl (Janis Joplin tribute) and The Brothers All Band (Allman Brothers tribute) at the Mishnock Barn March 1st.

If you can join us for these great bands and benifit, it would be sincerely appreciated.

With a very heavy heart, I must share the sad news, that Mark Moretti,the lead singer of "Custard Pie" died early Thursday morning. I am so sorry. We have all, who knew him, lost a great friend, musician and artist, and wonderful human being. Mark loved everybody and everybody loved him. He was simply put "a great guy"!! Rest in peace Mark,You will be unbelievably missed loved and warmly remembered, always. God bless, Thank you for being in our lives, John.

Thank you all for your support and friendship. I can't tell you how much I appreciate the great times, memories, friendships and life that we had from the Backstreet Saloon to JRs Beach house, JRs Townhouse, JRs Fastlane, Mustang Sally's, The Ft. Lauderdale Beach Club, Jrs RI Nightlife, Mardi Gras Multiclub, and Club 5. It was and awesome ride. Thanks for sharing it with us. Hope to see you all this one last weekend!
